I microwaved my tire for 1 min, then 2 min, but what did the trick was about 3 min and 15 seconds. You have to let it sit for a bit for the heat to penetrate the tire. I then used WD40 and with no extra tools it slipped on just fine. Snug fit, and I’m sure as it cools off it’ll tighten even more. Took it for a spin, definitely feel the bumps a bit more but it’s not as noticeable as I expected. Word of caution - don’t overheat this tire and don’t use screwdrivers when putting it on. It becomes soft and it’s very easy to damage - see the review of the guy who microwaved his for 4 min. Don’t do 4 min right away, do 1 min at a time with a few mins in between and try to put it on after each minute. I promise that on the 3rd or so try it will slip right on

It wasnt too bad to install as long as you have some tire irons. My only issue is it did slow my scooter down. The tire is less rounded than a normal tire so there is more surface area, therefore more rolling resistance. its not terrible but definitely noticeable.

You would have to boil this for days for there to be any pliabiity - not worth the hassle - ended up in the garbage - very frustrating....

I seen reviews stating the obvious, the ride is rougher, or its difficult to put on. It is true for ANY solid tire. I purchased one a few months ago and put it on the back. Since then I have put Green goo in the front and still had to replace the tube twice. So i got another for the front. Rubber is slightly harder than i would like (traction issue in the rain or down hill on smooth surfaces) but its better than replacing/patching tubes every month.

I got this tire in the mail and was immediately impressed by how sturdy and heavy it was. After I started trying to install it, I began to wish that it was more flimsy. After several minutes in the microwave, and several hours of trial and error, me and my college friends were able to force the thing on. If I ever have to change another tire again it will be too soon.

Although a solid tire it is, it is very hard, I wish I checked the weight of the tire before purchase, this one is almost twice as heavy as others. Being that hard also mean it was very difficult to install, a two person and 10 tool install. On the plus side, this tire is never gonna wear out during the life of the scooter.

I was having a bunch of issues with my rear tire going flat so I decided to give this a try and it works great. The ride is not as smooth at having an air filled tube however the difference is negligible enough to not have to worry about flats. Install was super easy, microwave for 2 minutes and put vasoline on the rim. Place the rim on the ground and slide the tire over rim with a little force.

Heat the tire in microwave for 3minutes changing it upside down each minute. It will be easy for you to install

ich habe etwa einen Tag damit verbraucht, ihn selbst zu montieren. Ich habe eine Werkstatt und ich habe alles was eine normale Werkstatt zu hat. Zunächst habe ich es mit Kabelbindern und Reifenhebern probiert.keine Chance. Dann mit einem Schraubstock. Keine Chance.Dazwischen habe ich ihn auch immer wieder mal in kochendes Wasser gegeben oder sogar in den Backofen. Bis zu 20 Minuten bei 150°.Immer noch keine Chance.In aller Verzweiflung, gerade jetzt zu Zeiten der Corona Viruskrise wenn kein Scooter Geschäft offen hat habe ich dann in einer Motorradwerkstatt angerufen und gefragt ob sie so nett wären und mir den Reifen auf die Felge bringen würden.Das haben Sie gemacht, hat keine 10 Minuten gedauert und gerade einmal € 20 gekostet für die Arbeitszeit.Fazit. Guter Reifen, aber keine Chance ihn selbst aufzubringen.Motorradwerkstätten helfen :)

Ich habe es über eine Stunde versucht mit erwärmen in der Mikrowelle, fetten mit Maschinenfett und roher GEwalt es auf die Felge zu bekommen und nicht geschafft. Dabei haben ich noch zwei helfende Hände bekommen. Bin dann auf einen neuen Schlauch umgestiegen, der innerhalb von 3min drauf war. Die Arbeit lohnt sich wahrscheinlich überhaut nicht. An sich macht der Gummi einen guten Eindruck, riecht etwas, sollte aber bei erfolgreicher Montage auch seine Arbeit verrichten können. Kann ich aber leider nicht beurteilen, da es nicht dazu gekommen ist...

POSITIV ➕Das Profil des Reifens ist wirklich sehr gut. Mir gefällt die Qualität desReifens auch ordentlich gut. Bei Regen sind die Reifen nicht allzu rutschig.NEGATIV ➖Die Montage ist der reinste Horror. Das hat ewig gedauert und ich musstemir erst Hilfe suchen von einem Nachbarn, der ein spezielles Werkzeug hatte.

Der Reifen ist leider in keine brauchbarem Zustand.Das Aufziehen mit herkömmlichen mitteln (Reifenheber) ist dank der Bauart praktisch unmöglich.Es wurde mir empfohlen den Reifen relativ stark zu erwärmen und die Felge mit einem Schmiermittel zu behandeln, und dann den etwas weicheren Reifen mit roher Muskelkraft in einem Zug aufzuziehen.Leider ist aber bei dieser Aktion der Reifen wie auch bei "Raman" (Andere Rezession) einfach gebrochen.Was passiert wäre wenn das Material nach erfolgreichem Aufziehen im Straßenverkehr den Geist aufgegeben hätte möchte ich mir nicht ausmalen.Alles in allem, wie schon gesagt, unbrauchbar.
