Tim Holtz 5" Mini Snips

The handles on these scissors make them so easy on the hand when doing a lot of cutting out, e.g. decoupage. There is a very, very fine serration, which helps to grip paper and provided an excellent cut. The blades also cut right to the tip, allowing for getting into the awkward corners that can be a problem. Having used other, cheaper craft scissors, I now only use these - well worth the extra money.

Really nicely designed and constructed scissors. Good quality metal, and sharp blades with a good point. Movement is positive with almost no play on the hinge. I do a lot of rigging work on sailing ship models, so need a good pair of small scissors to snip threads. Larger blades are no good to me as the tool has to get into some pretty small places. These are absolutely ideal for that. I also make a lot of models from card, and these deal with the various weights of paper and card I've thrown at it so far. Nice thing is that I've been able to cut things with these, and unlike other scissors I've tried in the past, the tips haven't separated with use. This is one of my greatest frustrations with scissors, that the tip becomes useless very quickly. I'm hoping that these will survive use for some time to come, if only to prove to me that not all scissors are the same.

Absolutely fabulous little craft scissors. Tested these with cotton/tana lawn and they snip seamlessly and with surgical precision (with that 'musical' satisfying snip that crafters appreciate ;) Lovely design, comfortable to use, excellent value and are supplied with a handy little safely cap - just as well, as these are fudgin' sharp. Highly recommended for all little projects, an essential addition your work box.

Great for fussy cutting

These are good for the price, nice and sharp and not too heavy. Plenty of room for your fingers and thumbs.

Great scissors for collage or decoupage, very sharp fine points & cut well. Decent price but the last pair I had the handles broke after a year, flimsy handles is the onlh downside, but such good cutters that I re-bought

Le famose forbicine per bricolage firmate Tim Holtz sono perfette per tutti i lavori di precisione oppure per il cucito. Manico nero in materiale antiscivolo. Anche le lame, affilatissime, sono nere. Arrivano confezionate come da foto con un ulteriore piccolo cappuccio in plastica che protegge le lame. Le forbicine sono lunghe in tutto (manico+lame) poco più di 12 cm. Spedizione Prime nei tempi stabiliti.

Ich habe zig Scheren in sämtlichen Größen und Ausführungen und überlegte wirklich, ob ich auch noch diese hier brauche. Ich bereue es absolut nicht, sie gekauft zu haben, denn sie hat ganz gravierende Vorteile und es macht superviel Spaß, damit zu arbeiten. Diese Schere hat eine ganz feine scharfe Spitze und man kann damit sehr filigran arbeiten. Sie liegt auch sehr angenehm in der Hand und hat für meine Zwecke die perfekte Größe. Was ich aber am tollsten daran finde: Schneidet man Foamtape oder sonstige Klebestreifen-/matten damit, dann bleibt nichts hängen. Die Schere ermöglicht saubere Schnittflächen ohne Geschmiere und ohne lästige Kleberest-Entfernung danach. Ich bastle gerade viele Karten mit Funktionen, bzw. beweglichem Innenleben und da kommt man um Foamtape als Abstandshalter nicht herum. Mir graute es gewaltig vor der bekannten Schmiererei. Mit dieser Schere macht das wieder total Spaß. Damit schneide ich Foamtape und kann ohne Putzerei sofort wieder normales Papier sauber damit schneiden. Selbst mit meiner teflonbeschichteten Spezialschere klappt das nicht so perfekt. Außerdem hat sie an einer Seite winzigkleine Zähnchen. Das hielt mich eigentlich ursprünglich von einer Bestellung ab, denn ich dachte, dass damit keine glatten Schnittkanten möglich wären. Das Gegenteil ist der Fall! Durch diese wirklich winzigen Zähnchen ist die Schnittführung viel gerader möglich und die Kante wird superglatt. Ich finde das genial und bin wirklich begeistert von meinem kleinen neuen Helfer. Toll finde ich auch die wirklich frustfreie - auf's Minimum reduzierte - Verpackung. Kein lästiger Blister, sondern Karton, an dem die Schere incl. wiederverwendbarer Schutzkappe mit einfachen Kabelbindern befestigt ist. Völlig ausreichend, müllsparend und superschnell ausgepackt. So würde ich mir das viel öfters wünschen. Ich kann dieses Produkt nur empfehlen. Hier stimmt wirklich alles!
