Good value for me as I don’t want large bottle lying around as I only use occasionally, strong with good hold

Over the last 20 years I have used professionally a range of Loctite products, 270, 640 & 648 together with the appropriate Activator. Now at home I had a set of screw bushes that didn't have the length of thread engagement i would have liked so I got the Loctite 270 to retain the Bushes. At work I would have used probably Loctite 648 for its high strength, but at home I don't need the high temperature resistance.Clean both parts to be joined, degrease them and if available apply Activator. Make sure the gap between surfaces doesn't exceed the grade of Loctite you're using. Wipe off excess and allow to cure. As a precaution, I test assembled a couple Bushes using scrap bits to recreate accurately the dimensions and materials. On my test Bush I started deforming the head before the thread gave away.If I do have any trouble with these Bush threads, then I'll get either the 640 or 648 grades, both of which are available on Amazon.

Used to lock the bolts on a trailer tow hitch to discourage light-fingered people. Easy to apply, reliable brand, clear instructions and reasonable price. And hopefully a permanent bond!

Great item ordered a small bottle but with plenty left if needed.
