I didn't use them in the traditional way as actual buttons but instead used them to complement some fiber art crafts like mini wreaths, cinnamon stick ornaments. I used hot glue to attach the buttons to the projects. They came out great and the recipients of the gifts loved the button designs. I purchased these buttons to use on holiday crafts.
