Great Product
I ordered this product as it seemed so much cheaper than purchasing a new sail for my son's Pico. The tape arrived very quickly. I had ordered the 10 metre length, but when I checked the packaging they had sent the 5 metre length. I contacted the company who were very apologetic and said I could have swapped it if I wanted, or give me a refund for the difference. I opted for the refund and the money was back in my account on the same day as the phone call. This company has very good customer service, polite and very helpful. Will definitely order from them again.

okay for a 1 day repair but doesn't stay on very well

Stick it on and forget about the repair
This tape really does the job of repairing clear monofilm used in modern sails and windsurfing rigs. It is so waterproof and sticky you really have to be ready to place it on correctly first time. I stick a piece on both sides of a tear and it appears bullet-proof but still extremely lightweight from that moment on. Of course it does not go completely transparent as it does contain adhesive but is still good enough to see and read through. It has saved me heaps in sail repairs.

not impressed!
Must admit, i'm not impressed with this product! I made sure the sail was clean and grease free, applied a small amount of the tape to the sail, on a flat panel, used sail for two weekends, now it's come off!

A tape with many uses.
Fantastic stuff. Useful whenever a transparent patch or joint is needed. I used to use it to patch spinnakers when I was actively sailing but now I have found all manner of uses for it. The latest is to patch a thorn snag in my duvet jacket from which down was escaping.

Just the job
No probs with this which I use to reinforce polyester film kinks or cracks in windsurfing sails.
