Squeaks when using the knob , surface is smooth but could be more substantial

It really helps when going round corners and manoeuvring, when it stays on. It fell off in my hand as I was going round a roundabout. Luckily I had hold of the steering wheel with my other hand. To attach it securely I had to use a spanner which seemed to solve the issue. I would advise anyone who buys it to check it is secure before travelling.Aside from that it is very comfortable to hold (I do have very small hands though)

Proper truckers knob! Not for cars, may fit but this is a bit old school, does the job.

The turning know obviously moves but it’s very loose and has about a 1cm tolerance from side to side it’s tight to the wheel no complaints about that but seems very over the price for a cheap looking bit of plastic

Doesnt fit steering wheel that well and I wouldn't really say it was a particularly wide steering wheel it's a Vauxhall meriva. Also it moves about so wouldn't like to rely upon it.Really fiddly to install too esp for someone with hand and joint problems which I have, hence why I needed it in the first place.Packaging looked ancient like it had been from something back in the 80's .Would not buy again for 2nd car or recommend and the hinge gets in the way when trying to drive the car too.Haven't let my partner drive my car since I put it on as I can get in the way and if u aren't used to it it could cause u to have an accident.
