Perfect product
Installed this and immediately felt like my house had hired a tiny, angry security guard. It’s so sensitive it’ll warn you if you even think about burning toast. Loud enough to wake the entire street, maybe even the next street over. Goes up easy, sits there silently judging your cooking skills, and only screams when absolutely necessary. Makes you feel weirdly safe, like “yeah, this thing would definitely snitch on a fire before it even starts.”

Battery issues
Product is easy to install and has possibly worked for a time (checked In October 22 and beeped as expected). Now December, heard a faint beep one day and checked the alarm- totally dead, no alarm no light flashing to indicate it was working. This product was purchased in April 2022 so definitely not 10year life and not worth buying. This is the 2nd unit of this type, the first was installed in 2019 by the local fire and rescue service. It lasted 3 years before beeping constantly during the night.

Good quality.
I purchased this to replace an older model which had reached the end of its life. The alarm is well built and comes with a built in, non replaceable battery which has a life span of 10 years. Near expiry, the alarm starts going off sporadically to let you know! The alarm was easy to fit onto the older models fitting, which then automatically activated the alarm. I need to jow purchase an additional one to replace another older model. I did research prior to purchasing and is recommended by a number of fire services.

New fire alarm
Had one of these for over 10years. Battery now dead and so I got this new one. Fits very well, hope it lasts just as long as the other one
