My experience of them so far is that you can expect no more than 3 years before the low battery starts and you have to replace. With 7 years 'left' on it's replace by end date. Selling a unit as 10 years when it is 3 is disingenuous and I will not be buying Fireangel again. **Q: Can ceiling mount for earlier model be used? Now December, heard a faint beep one day and checked the alarm- totally dead, no alarm no light flashing to indicate it was working. This product was purchased in April 2022 so definitely not 10year life and not worth buying. This is the 2nd unit of this type, the first was installed in 2019 by the local fire and rescue service.
