The Smell of the Alcohol Wipes Here’s where my personal gripe comes in: the smell from the alcohol wipes included with the paste is very strong. I’m not sure if the potency is necessary to clean off old thermal paste effectively, but it’s something to be aware of. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of not immediately disposing of the used wipes after use. The lingering smell in my room was overwhelming and awful—definitely a lesson learned! Application is incredibly smooth it spreads evenly, isn’t messy, and has just the right consistency for both beginners and experienced builders. The moment I applied it, I could tell it was a quality product. The performance speaks for itself, I saw an immediate drop in temperatures compared to the older paste I was using.
