Absolutely Amazing!!
Okay, first of all, some quick info about my hair: It is very thick, nearly shoulder length, and wavy.I have NEVER understood how to style my own hair which is a shame, because I've always wanted to. My hairstylist, bless her, would do her best to teach me. I'd try to replicate what she did to me in the salon and would end up a sweaty, frustrated mess with flat hair every time.I hated blow drying my hair because they were always too heavy and clunky to wield while I would try to round brush my hair and I'd end up getting overheated and burning my scalp. I could never figure out how to use a curling iron because I'd just burn myself and not get the result I want.People said the Air Wrap was super easy but I just couldn't justify the price. I do not have nearly $700 to blow on a hair tool.So I saw the great reviews for the Shark FlexStyle and that they were on sale. I bit the bullet and got the flower one because I thought it was cute.I washed my hair, let it airdry a little with some leave in conditioner and heat protection on it, and decided to try the blow dryer.Oh my gosh. I was surprised how powerful it was considering how small it is! I also really really loved I could control the heat AND how strong the air flow was. Most hair dryers can't do that! It dried my thick hair very quickly, even when I had it on the low heat setting.Next, I tried the curlers. I had no idea what I was doing. I assumed R meant for my right side and L for my left. I screwed the curler attachment on and just decided to play around with it.It took me a few seconds to realize how it would automatically wrap around the wand, which was really cool! I did one side and was shocked at how nice my hair looked, even though I was using it on low heat! I did the other side with the left curler and again, it was so easy! I sort of stared in shock at myself in the mirror, realizing I'd just done my hair in ten minutes. If I actually put some more effort into it next time, I'm sure it will look even better. So, first impressions, I absolutely love this hair tool! I will be buying the other attachments to try them out next!Pros:-Lots of different attachments-Can rotate the head of it to make it easier to hold when blow drying-Can control airflow and heat-Pretty easy to use and get the hang of after some trial and error-Very light to hold (my arm never got tired!),-Nice design (little flowers are cute, lol),-Feels nice quality and well made-More affordable than similar hair toolsCons:-I do admit, it's noisy but I've also felt that way for all hair dryers since I have pretty sensitive hearing. I also don't like the feeling of air blowing over my ears but I just put in some ear plugs and I was fine! I might try wearing my ear buds so I can listen to my music in the morning while I style my hair :D-Doesn't come with all of the attachments, you have to buy some of the separately which can be pricey $$All in all, I highly recommend this!

I love this styling tool and will be getting rid of my others
What I love most about this Shark FlexStyle system is that it takes the place of so many other tools I own. Now I have one system that can blow-dry my hair, with or without a diffuser or concentrator, and can create curls or loose waves, or just add shaping and volume if I want to wear my hair straight. It's not very heavy and is so easy to use. The quality is superb, and it should last a long time since it is impossible to get my hair tangled up in the air intake, which is what usually ends old-school hair dryers. I can adjust airflow speed and heat level, so I don't have to worry about heat damage. It can also dry my hair very quickly. I have long, thick, wavy/curly hair that I often like to wear straight, and this one tool can do all of that, and fast. I have never been one to spend much time on my hair, but this one tool makes it fast and easy to make my hair literally look like I went to a salon for a blowout. It's awesome, and it's going to save me a lot of space too because it will replace several other tools that I already own. Well worth it for me!

Why did I wait so long to get this hair dryer?
I did a ton of research before pulling the trigger on this, and I am so glad I did. I have long, fine, but thick, wavy/curly hair and have always struggled with styling it at home. My old blow dryer took forever, and I could never get the round brush blowout look without my arms giving out halfway through. This thing dried my hair literally 10 times faster than my old dryer. I'm not exaggerating. I was shocked. The oval brush smooths everything out beautifully, and the curling wands are an absolute game-changer. I was never a curling iron person because I could never get it right, but these wands just wrap your hair and do the work for you. I couldn't believe the results on my first try.I'm still getting the hang of the round brush for styling, but even as a beginner, I can see exactly where this is going once I practice a bit more. For the price compared to a certain British brand that rhymes with Tyson, this is an absolute no-brainer. My hairdresser recommended it, and she was right. Two thumbs way up.

Great for the unskilled, or to cut styling time
Just got this today. Initial review-- Dries hair FAST, I have very fine hair but a LOT of it, and this dried my hair in maybe half the time of a regular dryer- I dried my hair on the next to lowest heat setting- it didn’t burn my head at all but was still very effective at drying- I used the curling rods (comes with 2, one for left side and one for right side of head) and was pretty pleased with how easy they were to figure outSee attached photos- for context, I used no products in my hair to combat frizz or add volume, etc. Had just washed my hair and was excited to test this out. Blow dried my hair until it was about 85% dry, and then grabbed a few sections to test the curling rods. I literally half-a**ed this and only curled a small number of sections in my hair, so just know that if you spend more than literally 6 minutes curling your hair with this, I think it’ll look ten times as good. This thing isn’t too heavy, and the attachments are very easy to switch out (they do have a locking mechanism so they don’t fall out while you’re using them). A lot of people have commented on the volume, but honestly- it doesn’t sound any louder to me than a typical blow dryer? The noise is slightly more high pitched than a normal dryer, so maybe that’s what people don’t like, but after 5 seconds of using it the sound literally became white noise to me. Honestly, I think it’s quieter than most hotel dryers. My one complaint isn’t really a complaint, I just didn’t read and realize that there’s a different curling wand for each side of the head. So you’ll basically curl one side of your head, then swap out the rod and curl the other side. I kind of wish it was just one rod to do the whole head, but with how they’re designed that wouldn’t work (unless you didn’t care about which way the curls face.) Each rod is clearly marked on the end with an L or an R so there’s no guesswork. As someone who loves to have nice hair but is infinitely lazy and unskilled with a curling iron or round brush, this seems like it was very well worth the purchase for me. If you’re already a pro at doing hair, you might not get as much use out of this set, but for me I’m very happy with the purchase.I chose this over the dyson because of the price point, but also because I’ve owned other products (vacuums lol) from each brand and I’ve found Shark products to be more reliable and dependable than Dyson stuff.Update: two weeks in and I’m loving this. Surprisingly, my favorite attachment is the round brush. It’s so easy to use that with the dryer to dry my hair and give it volume so my roots aren’t so flat. This thing also travels well- when you straighten out the dryer barrel, this was super easy for me to fit in my carry on bag and then I just threw the paddle brush attachment in my backpack. Easy peasy and I was able to use it to keep my hair looking full and lovely on a long weekend trip to the lake. Very happy with this purchase.Edit 2- 2 month update. I freaking love this thing. I actually don’t use the curling wands very often- I’ve been using both brush options to get volume and even curls in my hair. I’ve never been skilled (or patient) at doing my hair but this thing has been pretty much a game changer for me. Walked out of the house the other day looking like I had just gotten my hair professionally done, felt like a goddess.

Hair looks like a blow out every time AND it's a hair tool that I won't have (or want) to replace!
I have had the Shark hair dryer for almost a year now. I cannot tell you how much I love this hair dryer - its beautiful - saves time - I plan on keeping this thing for years to come. The second I started using it, I started getting more compliments on my hair. This thing is heavy duty and feels like an appliance! You know it's going to last for a long time, has a lot of power, and is FUNCTIONAL!Pros:Easy to use - attachments are easy to lock into place and feels secure while in useSuper quick drying time - it cut my already short drying time in halfAdds tons of volume while smooths my fine hairHeavy dutyThe settings!!! Hot gets hot and the cold shot actually is coldThe curls stay in - I REPEAT - THE CURLS STAY INSpace saver - it's only hot tool I use - no more curing irons or straightners necessaryMy hair feels and looks healthierIt's beautiful! But I love black and rose goldCons..... it's a little heavy? But you get used to it.Years ago when Shark and Dyson debuted with thir hair dryers, I bought knock off with all of the same attachments - it's attachment locking mechanism broke within a week. Because the locking mechanism broke, I got spooked on this type of hair dryer and went on using versions of and including the L'ange le volume. Then I used the brand name Dyson for a week straight while on vacation with my sister. I brought my l'ange with me, but loved her Dyson. So for 2 months, I debated back and forth between buying the Dyson and buying the Shark. There were some features on the Dyson that I didnt really like (the texture of the handle, for example). So! I decided to take the leap and purchase this. After the years of debating and thinking about it after I saw the first ads when it came originally came out onto the market, I would have saved myself so much time, hassle, frustration, and MONEY over the years had I just bought this hair dryer in the first place. Please - Just save yourself the bad hair days, mental torture, and money... I promise it's worth it.

I LOVE THIS HAIR TOOL!!!
Firstly, let me address some of the odd reviews I've seen. Yes, it gets hot enough for people with naturally curly hair to also get their hair straight and smooth or straight and bouncy with the attachments. It allows people with thick or course hair to use the curling barrels. If you think that makes it dangerous, you maybe shouldn't operate any appliances that get hot without adults supervision. This tool comes with a styling guide telling you the ideal average setting for each thing and how to adjust it for your hair type. Thinner hair, turn the heat down by one, frizzier hair, turn down the air by one, thicker coily hair, turn the heat up by one, etc. It is not the responsibility of any hair company to learn your hair type for you and make a tool especially for you at the same price of a mass-marketed tool for people who can figure out their hair type BEFORE buying things for said head of hair. Also, something not getting hot doesn't make it better for your hair. You can ruin a meal by slowcooking it, you can ruin clothing by putting it in the dryer on low heat for a really long time, you can slowcook your hair by using low heat when you shouldn't and using it a longer period of time than you should need. I can't imagine why this isn't a normal chain of logic but it isn't so here we go!I got the T3 Aire 360 first but, because this was only $20 more and came with all of these attachments, I knew I needed to try it and compare. Well, I kept doing one side of my hair with T3 and one with this tool and they never did look very different. The Shark side had more volume but wasn't as smooth, so okay, hit it with a little Amalfi Gold Hair Serum. The T3 side was smoother but didn't have as much volume so, okay, hold at the roots longer. However, the T3 brush did NOT get my roots all the way to the scalp, so there was still waviness at the root and I hated it. The Shark Flexstyle performed BEAUTIFULLY in that using the oval brush attachment got everything unless it was an area I couldn't see as well, and then going over those areas with the paddle brush attachment fixed it without me having to get out a flat iron. The wands do a nice job and they last longer, the shape that they create lasts 3 days the way I do it, which is a little involved but works nicely. And hey, I only have to do it twice a week so I try not to complain about it. However, their barrels are short. I will be ordering more attachments, including the thinner barrels to go along with all of these, but I'm knocking off a full star for the fact that the main Coanda hair tool manufacturers have all figured out the beauty of longer barrels and Shark still has to catch up on that point. The longer barrels don't make a better curl, but they make it a bit easier to do a lot of long hair, and I have SO MUCH hair! Again, not expecting a custom-made hair tool for the price of a mass-marketed one, but the other guys have figured out longer barrels, Shark can catch up annnnny day now.All in all, I LOVE this tool and find use for all of the attachments. I have even used to diffuser, though I have found curl training and diffusing to be tediously task-heavy and time consuming. Nevertheless, it's so great to finally have a tool that has a diffuser attachment for times when I want to have my curls. I recommend this highly and really hope to see longer barrels one day.

Game Changer for My Hair Routine!
I can honestly say this is one of the best things I've ever ordered from Amazon. The Shark FlexStyle has completely changed the way I do my hair. It's powerful, easy to use, and gives me salon-quality results at home without the extreme heat damage. The different attachments make styling simple, whether I want volume, smoothness, or curls. My hair dries much faster than with a traditional dryer, and the finished look lasts throughout the day. I was a little hesitant because of the price, but after using it, I can confidently say it's worth every penny. If you're on the fence, just get it—you won't regret it. This is truly a game changer!Pros: ✔️ Fast drying time✔️ Multiple styling options✔️ Lightweight and easy to use✔️ Leaves hair smooth and shiny✔️ Excellent value compared to similar high-end productsOverall: 10/10. One of my favorite Amazon purchases ever! ❤️

Underwhelming
I waited to post this review but feel its necessary to share the experience with the Shark. Normally, Shark 'anything' is excellent and this hairstyler performed adequately at first. Its loud, that wasn't a huge issue, the air flow was good not great. The attachments get super hot during use, so removal and replacement is tricky. The wand is a bit heavy and oddly long. The curling wands are decent, but doesn't give my hair the curl hold I seek. The diffuser is okay, no complaints. It does cut my drying time and I have long, thick, semi wavy hair that I like styled straight. The main issue is I feel is my ends are getting fried due to the heat from the brush attachment and the entire tool just randomly stops working every few minutes. I'll hit the off button to make sure it doesn't short out. It'll come back on a few seconds later when you restart it, but its annoying having to stop several times during the drying/styling time frame. So, for short term use I guess its worth it, but it's too expensive to have this product malfunction with every use.

Love it
Coming from a person who has used both the revlon round brush dryer & the cheap knock off dyson I say this is worth it, if you are wanting a Dyson but don’t want to shell out that amount of money.Pro- fast, powerful, has the same tech for making a blown out curl.Con- buttons could be closer together, needs a longer hair attachment or just 1 singular barrel for curling which can do both ways, & you have to hold the cold shot for a little longer to actually feel it.Never used a real Dyson, but used the knock off which I do not recommend gets too hot & after prolonged use it shorted out. Also using a revlon it’s a good thing for beginners to actually get the hang of trying to get a good blow out with a slight curl but it’s always hot no real temp control & if you are wanting a true cool down to set your curl you will need a standard hair dryer to actually set it. The shark has the power & the comfortability all in one.
