This is an excellent product if you're confused about measurement 1 ml is equal to 1 G. So you can use that table of measurement. Boiled down nicely and dissolved 99% within about 15 minutes. Could not get a few granules in the bottom to dissolve. I boiled it a bit longer and they still not to dissolve , so I poured what I had into my sterile Petri dishes . The parts of this that did not dissolve stayed nicely in the bottom as to not contaminate as I poured it. it poured out nicely and is sitting in the refrigerator to cool down and solidify. After this product is mixed and poured into sterile Petri dishes you must make sure you keep it refrigerated otherwise it will mold sitting on the counter at room temperature. I will update the review as I will have some control dishes as well as ones that I put contaminants on. This does not come with the sterile Petri dishes. I ordered those separately. I do like that this ship within 24 hours after ordering.So I'm posting an update this took from August 8th until last week to begin growing and now it looks like this it is now September 16th . This is one week after it began to grow. So it took almost 6 weeks to begin to grow and now this is one week later after beginning to grow

One of the few agar premixes that I have found that produces crystal clear dishes.
