Great but stores water when washing
I was happy to bake Canneles with this mould but found problem to wash in a dishwasher.Although the description says it's dishwasher safe, it washes but the shape behind stores a lot of water if you place facing down.I wish if there was a small hole or something so the water goes away.

One-bite madeleines - great for kids (and adults too!).
Bought this few months ago ... and buying another one so I can make more in one go! We're big madeleine bakers (and eaters) at home as they are easy to make and to eat for the kids. So I've got a few madeleine forms already: 3 of normal size, and now 2 of small size. Those ones are small: one bite really. But great for little kids as easy to hold, less mess, less crumbs and they can have 2 w/o actualy having too much biscuits ... and great for adults as well. The form itself, after greasing 1st time as recommended, had no issue. If you stuff the madeleines with jam or something too sugary, then the stuffing goes at the bottom and they might stick (nutella ok though!). I grease it from time to time, when it's been used a few times or put in the dishwasher. I've recommended it a few times already. The madeleines are 4cm long (7cm long normal size).

Very satisfied
I have already used it a few times and I am very satisfied. The quality of the sicilone is very good. The first time I have greased it, after it is not necessary anymore and you can release the madeleines without any problem, not sticking at all. One of the more important things for me about kitchen utensils is the cleaning part but if you do it in the dishwasher the result is perfect as well. The mould only has one problem, the madeleines really are very very small. You can call them "super mini".

I have not used silicone before but these worked well ...
I have not used silicone before but these worked well. The only issue is their flexibility. The recipe usually requires you to have a heated tray in the oven. Therefore after filling the moulds and transferring them to the heated tray, their flexibility can cause spillage - you just need to be aware so that you hold them correctly.

Works well
Does what it’s supposed to do. I do grease with a tiny bit of butter, then when I flip it upside down after cooling, the canneles fall out. I get a nice dark brown finish (might be because of the butter?). I do tend to put it on a baking sheet as it’s a bit floppy.

Want more of Lekue products!!
I got this in one of the daily deals.. it arrived just as I finished making the sponge mix. I had some left and decided to try, just look at the tray, I didn’t grease it I just popping in enough dough and it coooked perfectly and just pulled out the tray with minimal effort and damage to the sponges.

Silicon form great, recipe only in French
I was lucky enough to know French, so I tried out the recipe in the booklet and it works really well. But if you don't speak French, don't be put off, there are plenty of similar recipes on the internet that would work just as well. The silicon shapes themselves are great, it's easy to get the cannelés out, and they're easy to clean.

Canele heaven
If you haven't made canele, you haven't lived. I was wary of spending a tenner on a mould. We now have two so we can make more. If you want a good canele recipe, try goggling Michele Roux who wrote an article in Decanter magazine.
