Luxbon Crochet Hooks Set 14Pcs Multicolor Aluminum Handle Knitting Needles Crochet Needles Craft Yarn 2-10mm

I recently got back into yarn crafts while traveling and needed some hooks, and these were what I purchased. They are a fantastic value for roughly $6, come in bold and beautiful colors, sizes are easy to read, and work smoothly. They also go up to 10mm which is awesome because you can't find many sets that go up that high!I'm happy to see the metric sizes printed on these hooks because that's the only system I go by and will only purchase hooks with metric sizes on them(keeps it simple), but the box does have the US and UK sizes printed on the back so if you use those letters/sizes, you won't have an issue. You could even use a fine tipped sharpie to write your size from the box, then a small piece of clear scotch tape will keep it from wearing off. They also come in a nice little pouch that folds easily into the box for easy and neat storage. One minor issue I had, is though these are great hooks to use, they could be a little deeper. I was alternating between 5.5mm and 6mm, and had an issue with yarn slipping off while making ruffle scrunchies, but ruffle scarves have been a breeze. They also chain well with normal crocheting, but I haven't gotten too far into it to see how well they single/double crochet.While the hooks are comfortable to use, they sometimes slip from being so smooth and slim, so I recently purchased and am waiting to receive/use/review an ergonomic "Dude" handle from Boye(also here on Amazon for about $6) that's supposed to work with most hooks, so if you find yourself needing a better grip yet are happy with your Luxbons, don't throw these out for a new set! Just go try out a grip as there are several different styles. I just felt the Boye would work better for my crafting needs.So, with all that said, I am happy with my purchase and glad I found a nice set at such a great price. Thank you!

The price was great for what I got. I use the everyday and they are easy to hold. Though some are sticky. These crochet hooks are great for the price you pay

For beginners these are great for the price. For people who have been crocheting longer there are some definite cons. The metal appears smooth but will occasionally catch/snag on yarn. They are super comfortable to hold for a long period of time either. But value for money is 100% worth it

I've purchased a number of crochet hook sets, but this is always my go to set. I've tried ergonomic, ones with lights, all the bells and whistles, but I always come back to these. They're the most comfortable, smoothest set I own. Definitely recommend them

I wasn't quite sure what to get with the price, but wow, these are amazing! These are beautiful and look sturdy/well made. None of my hooks were bent. No lips, ledges, or imperfections. You've got big and chunky (size 10mm/N/P/15/000) to itty bitty (size 2.00mm/B/1/14) and every size in between. The hooks are the same length as the Boye hook I got from my grandmother with only a minor difference in head shape. Otherwise, they appear to be true to size for a fraction of the price. They also come in a plastic sleeve system that has a flap closure. Each needle, except the last four which are grouped in twos, has their own special pocket made for just their size, making your crochet basket/bin much cleaner, organized and transport a breeze. You don't have to worry about hooking or ripping up a sweater when you shove all of your project in a tote! I definitely recommend these and can't wait to get started on some new projects. If ever I should find a defect or a negative asspect, I'll update my review to include. First impression: Super impressed!

I ordered this set as I needed the size 9 and 10 hook not commonly included with a lot of sets. I also needed one with a longer crochet stem as I was using a bulky yarn with a stitch that needed several loops on the hook at one time and ones with a shorter crochet stem did not fit that many loops very well. These hooks work well. They're not the smoothest or the fastest hooks I have but they serve the purpose and it's always great to have more than one in a size on hand.Good set for the price. For the most commonly used hook sizes, I'd invest in a brand that is easier on the wrist. There are also rubber grips available in accessories that can be added onto these hooks so they are easier on the wrist.

I'm a beginner crocheter, so I will start by saying I do not have any other products to compare these to, as they are my first. However, from doing a little research, this seems to be the best deal for your money. It offers a wide range of needles for any kind of project. My only complaint is that the yarn seems to "stick" to the needles at times, perhaps because of the material the needles are made of, but it is nothing that actually gets in the way of crocheting. All in all I would definitely recommend these for any kind of beginners like myself. If I were doing lots of projects for a business, I would look into buying higher quality hooks for the sizes I used the most, and keeping these as backups. Definitely worth your investment. Lastly, I did not have any defects in my needles or size discrepancies as I've seen with other reviews. Comes as advertised.

These crochet hooks are very good and well worth the money. They are well made and easy to hold.Other reviews mention that the hooks snag on the yarn, but I did not have that problem. So far I have used them to make a blanket and a doll for my Great Niece. I am very happy with my purchase.

These hooks glide nicely. Some aluminium coloured crochet hooks offer resistance bit these glide nicely. Good size range with some larger hooks.
