Zefal Swan Road Universal Rear Mudguard

The mudguard works well at stopping the spray coming back up over you. Does not really stop much spray from going up at any riders who may be following you.Easy to install and seems pretty robust when out riding on varied terrain.Good to have handy for those times when it starts to rain just before you go out or when you know there are only going to be a few puddles out when riding.

The mudguard wouldn’t fit on my seat post because of a built in rear light - I’d have had to raise the saddle to make it fit. However, I was able to attach it to the frame, and by removing the guard from the mechanism and turning it upside down and refitting it (with the mechanism attached upside down), it fits fine, even if it doesn’t look exactly as intended.I’ve ridden on wet roads and muddy tracks, and it’s kept me completely dry at the back. It also looks pretty good, especially for the price.

A tad fiddly to fit on but no more fiddly than expected. Once it's on its on. Easy to loosen fixture to manipulate placement.Not sure what is meant by 'sheerness' so gave it a four star rating to keep my four star trend going. Gives me good coverage over my wheels, about 2inch wide. No more muck up my coat which makes me feel better about riding to work in the rain. I'd buy these again if I had another bike that needed a mudguard. Worth the price for ease of fixing and purpose. Doesn't look shabby. Plastic feels sturdy. Only need an Allan key to fit.

Easy to assemble. Looks well on the bike.Will block all road splash and dirt.I'm very happy with this mudguard.

I like this mudguard because it is well made and quite bendy so it is less likely to snap. In the past I have snapped 2 mudguards, different brands,(one about 2 days after I had paid £20 for it in a bike shop. This one looks like it will be almost indestructible. I am going to buy a second for my other bike.

The mudguard was easy to install onto my roadbike and fulfills its purpose.Only took about 10 minutes to install once I read through the instructions and made necessary adjustments. It also is pretty sturdy (doesn't move when riding) and yet is fairly light weight.It is also reflective so helps to be visible at night (see pictures).Only negative I would say is the screw-in part to the mudguard is fairly ugly and sticks out slightly to the side for some reason (but this doesn't hinder the mudguard's purpose of blocking dirt and water and is only a visible issue).Would recommend.

Easy to fit . Does the job perfect what more do you need.simple and job done.

my bike is like this (no horizontal bridge in the front), which is easier for females. i spend 15min on it, so if you have a similar style of bike, there is a suggestion for you: pull it out and lock it like this, i know it looks not really well, but there is the only space under my seat to install it.fit for the wheel and nice look
