Very pleased with this book!Every recipe I've tried so far has turned out delicious. Today me and my young son made the best gingerbread we've ever had from this book.It's also got a good variety of recipes, not just cakes but also breads and biscuits, and quick everyday things as well as big occasion bakes.I have a lot of recipe books and this one earned its place as one of my favourites almost immediately. A really good find!

I bought the book for my sons girlfriend as a starting point for her to learn to bake. A good variety recipes, clear instructions and yummy looking photos.

This book should be in every ones kitchen. Easy to follow recipes and beautifully explained - I absolutely love it. So much so I'm going to order one now for my 2 daughters. A great little buy 😍

What I love about this book is it has recipes from jam tarts to birthday cakes. The author used to be a teacher until going full time as a baker, cake designer with displays at Cake International. The teaching side of his career really shows in this book in how the recipes and instructions are laid out. I would recommend this book 100%.

After trying some of Mr Baker’s recipes, I could quite honestly throw away most of my other cookery books! This is absolutely the best! No fancy language, just great down-to-earth recipes using everyday ingredients.Thank you Mr Baker!
