Banana Armour

Great banana holder, quite large, firm closure which is a bit fiddly, but does the job.

This thing is huge - understandably it needs to be so that it is able to accommodate almost every size and curve of banana that you are likely to get but it does look like a sex toy if you whip it out of your handbag! It even looks dodgey if you have it poking out of your handbag or sitting ontop of an open handbag. Perhaps it should come in a discrete cloth bag or something!However, it does the job really well - no more squashed and bruised bananas emerge from my bag.

What a brilliant product. I absolutely love it. I take a banana to work every day and have it in my sling bag. By the time I got to work my banana was usually completely blackened, soft and looking a little worse for the wear. There's no more of that since I bought the banana guard. Just about every size and shape banana fits in, it's really easy to open and close with the little clips on the ends of the case and is very sturdy. Very thick bananas may get a little blackened where they push against the case but that's just the skin. Inside is still perfect. It fits perfectly in my bag, not too big, but big enough for really big bananas. It's always a good laugh to whip this is out at work, too. I'd highly recommend this. Great product.

No one likes a blackened banana…this case manages to fit all shapes and sizes and protects them on the way to school or outings. Great value for money.

I’ve had one of these before and it was pretty sturdy.The two that I’ve got now don’t seem to clip together very easy. When you try to open it from the middle catch it opens only partially as the end catches are still closed. It’s only a matter of time until it breaks.Other than that it does hold 95% of bananas of any shape.

What can I say...it's a banana guard. Does exactly as you'd expect, finally I have an answer to taking a banana to work in my rucksack and not finding it mashed into my most important paperwork or worse still, the inside of my bag. Also seems to keep the fruit from ripening so quick. I forgot I left it in my bag for a few days and the banana didn't ripen at all.Very worthwhile purchase. Like the title says, it may look stupid and get a few looks in the office, but do I care? As long as I don't have to wipe any more gross mushed up banana from inside my bag, I'm happy.

The product is what it is, and does it's job very well, however it's absolutely massive, and so makes it quite hard to transport your bananas easily, even though they will be protected very well. Could probably fit 2 bananas in it, if you feel so inclined.The way it opens feels rather cheap and could break easily with wear and tear, however the case itself is sturdy and won't break under too much pressure, so don't let this put you off.It does what it's designed to do, nothing more nothing less :)

Came quickly and protects my banana in my bag. No more bruised brown bananas. So far holding up well but if you are rough with it I could see the fastenings breaking. So far so good
