Q: Would this item hold up to kitty claws?

Hello! Thanks for reaching out! Our blankets are made of 460 GSM of 100% premium microfiber polyester. Most blankets you see on the market are below 400GSM (the higher the number, the more dense/material was used, so typically higher quality). We stand behind the quality of our blankets, but our blankets, like most throw blankets on the market, are not designed to be kitty claws proof. Q: Do you really need to air dry? The instructions say not to tumble dry

It is supersoft and I think they are saying that so that it doesn’t get all matted. However, if you have one of those fancy dryer’s that have air dry or super low heat It should be fine. I recommend taking it out when it is very slightly damp. Hope it helps!
