Now, I'm sure like many of you, I was wondering if there was any point to an electric pepper grinder (haven't tested for salt) over just a normal nice manual one. HOWEVER, I really do like this product and the functionality it brings. This is easy to open and put fresh peppercorns in and then with a simple hold of the button on top, it starts grinding. With this model, you can also adjust the coarseness of the grind which is really helpful when doing different meals. It's hard to explain why, but you truly cannot go back from having an electric grinder. The only way to describe it is if you have to manually mix things with a whisk and then you upgrade to a stand mixer. Ok, it costs more, but you can never go back.

Item seems well, works fine and very easy though I find it takes a while to get the desired amount of ground pepper, I was hoping for something more but it's fine.

It's good looking, unlike some it doesn't fall over all the time,is easily adjustable and quiet..It is a pleasure to use and have on the table.

All I can say after few days of use is that it seems to last and finally worth the money! Grinds well, a bit slow but that depends how fine you want your salt/pepper to be. The pepper corn/salt insert is big enough to fill/refill, attach/deattach from the main body easily with batteries stored in the upper compartment - also easy to use. Can't comment on durability as only time will tell. Overall I would recommend it.

it doesn't grind properly, and barely grinds at all. tried 4 different kinds of batteries Duracell, sony, and other brands as I thought maybe the power wasn't good because of batteries but it operates the same. My one maybe faulty, but it does work and spin with no issues, its just very slowly, and sometimes gets stuck on some peppercorns so i cant tell if it really is faulty, or just rubbish

Bought a pair of these grinders to replace my old ones. I noticed how much easier they are to fill and operate compared to my old ones. My old ones lasted about 5 years before the mechanism stopped working. Only time will tell how robust these are.

I love black pepper on my food. However, it is quite a chore to manually grind each time the amount I like. So I purchased the Latent Epicure Electric pepper mill. It is so well made being stainless steel. It takes 4 AA batteries. Remove this lid by twisting and drop in the batteries matching pos and neg. the peppercorns go in the bottom part of the mill this you twist open clearly marked lock and unlock. It takes a generous amount of peppercorns. Then lock together and away you go. Don’t forget to take off the black lid on the base which is there to keep your table clean and adjust the grind from fine to coarse clearly marked on the base. I like course so turned the dial anti clockwise to get coarser grains of pepper. It is a real doddle to use - one hand only and quick. there is also a good light on the base which is a nice normal coloured light so doesn’t change the colour of your food, and you can clearly see the grains falling onto your food. I have just had scrambled eggs with loads of black pepper in seconds without the -hard slow grind of the past! I LOVE IT, and can very highly recommend this electric pepper mill. The customer service is the best ever too.

It does the job with the Himalayan sea salt. So what more is there to say. It's easy to use using one hand obviously.

Actually the day i received this I ordered a second one. I use one to coarsely grind pink Himalayan salt and the other to custom grind 4 color peppercorns from cracked to fine. It works great so far. I use it for food prep mostly, and I use them a lot, but could use it at table. I use a hand pepper mill at table. Tradition. But this makes grinding greater amounts of seasoning needed for cooking or plating meals much less formidable and has improved the quality of my meals already. Attractive and well made as well.

Looks nice and grinds fine, but slower than my previous electric mill. The light is not very bright at all (again, last one I had was awesome) But good for the price

Die Pfeffermühle sieht super aus und lässt sich, durch ihre große Öffnung leicht befüllen. Die Einstellung des Mahlgrades ist einfach und gut ablesbar. Besonders gefällt mir der Deckel unten, der verhindert, dass ständig Krümelreste beim Abstellen auf die Stellfläche fallen. Gut gemacht. Für den Betrieb benötigt man 4 AA Batterien, die nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten sind.

Die Salz- und Pfeffermühlen funktionieren einwandfrei und mahlen per Knopfdruck schnell und gleichmäßig. Das einstellbare Mahlwerk ist praktisch, sodass man die Körnung nach Wunsch anpassen kann. Zudem liegen die Mühlen gut in der Hand und wirken hochwertig verarbeitet. Ein kleiner Punktabzug, weil eine LED-Beleuchtung fehlt, die gerade bei dunklerer Umgebung hilfreich wäre. Ansonsten aber ein super Produkt, das ich gerne weiterempfehle!
