Tastes really good!
It tasted just like normal whey protein. There is a whiff of beef but if you don’t pay too much attention to it, there’s not much difference in the flavour! Really good value as well

Beefy protein with 'nowt else in it! ~Updated review
I refuse to eat garbage; gluten, wheat, diary, yeast, sugar are all out for me, needless fillers. The beef protein is near perfect ingredient wise, packs a high power protein punch, OK carbs are low, but just stack with real food the rest of the day. I've tried Whey Powders in the past and whilst gains are good, the side effect of bloating is a major put off equally with the high levels of sugar that you find in there. Taste wise this stuff isn't great but it is certainly edible. I nutribullet mine with a scoop of powder, half a banana, 250ml coconut milk and two level teaspoons of rolled oats. Might smell a bit meaty but taste like a malted drink in my opinion. Will be buying a 2kg bag. Haven't mixed it water as I don't want to drink wall paper paste (same applies to all Whey), life is too short my friends.~Updated review - now after trying to take this (unmixed) to the gym, post workout, forget, worst f****** thing you can imagine. So basically if you can't machine blend don't buy, pointless

Best tasting yet and I've tried most
Banana Fudge = best tasting protein powder I've ever tried.Seriously you'll have to look quite far to find me a protein company I've not tried. Mutant pro 100, Myprotein, Optimum nutrition gold standard, proteinworks, PHD, USN, MAXI, Musclefood, LA muscle, BSN, the list goes on.This for me Is the best tasting by a mile (Mutant pro 100 I'd say is second best but also more expensive, LA muscle by far the worst and probably THE most expensive just a fyi)It doesn't mix all that well though that Is true, I just use the blender and It's perfect. I genuinely think it tastes better with water Instead of milk which is strange but still tastes amazing either way.See a lot of reviews slating the smell. Honestly I can't smell anything nasty maybe it's a dodgy batch they have? It's happened to me before more than once (Bulk powders own whey protein Toffee popcorn to name but one) Smelt/tasted horrid so I do believe the one star reviews but i've learnt In all my years it's luck of the draw with protein powders, you get that sometimes, sadly. But a great big solid 10/10 from me. Only shake I'm buying for a while I think.

Awesome!!!!
I've been training for a number of years and I've struggled to find a protein powder that I can use as I have Coeliac Disease.Coeliac means that I struggle with dairy (Whey) and many others due to Soy lecithin. I've spent days on the toilet suffering the consequences of searching for a suitable proteinThis protein isn't dairy, isn't rank like vegetable proteins (which are all horrible) and doesn't contain soy lecithin (sunflower lecithin used)I blended it as just shaking it doesn't mix it.When blended it mixed in to a Angel Delight fluffy liquid mixture.I just used water so was wary but no need! The chocolate flavour is AWESOME!!! No lumps or clumps, tastes lovely and is a massive 27g protein per servingNo I'll consequences! Bonus!!!I use 3 a day now!Don't delay, buy it and try it!!! (Not the unflavoured though)

I'm allergic to milk. Therefore, as a bodybuilder, must find alternatives. I've been using Pure Soya Isolate, which is a good protein but hard to mix and tastes pretty bad; let's be honest. Whey is not an option, so I have little alternatives. I eat tons of meat (naturally), including beef, It's just milk that causes me an issue. The products arrived very quickly, on a Sunday which was odd. But overall good delivery service. When opening the Beef Protein bag it really does smell like animal, but I was expecting this after reading some other reviews.Don't be alarmed by this though, as the smell disappears once mixed. So when mixed with water it smells and tastes like chocolate milk, seriously no difference. It is hard to mix. It benefits from using a blender. Without one, it is lumpy. This is not a problem for me, but worth you knowing. It also is quite frothy too. But not as frothy as Soya! 'Whey' users don't know how good they have it :) My first experience with the product was joy! I've hated using Soya for some time as I can't get used to the foul taste. And this was a dream.Sadly, the deal breaker is it gives me the runs. The product literally acts like a laxative. Just to be clear, when I ingest milk, I suffer pain and the runs too. But the difference here is that there is no pain, just terrible runs. I have tested this to be sure it's the powder, and it really is. Which is just unfortunate. I thought I was onto a winner, too. It may be fine for you?I bought 2kg of the stuff. One chocolate and the other chocolate and peanut. I will slowly, every other day or so, have one of these just to use up the batch. But Unless something changes in the ingredients, I won't be able to keep on using it after it's gone. Which is a shame because it really does taste good.I'm yet to taste the chocolate and peanut flavour. I'll post a review on that as soon as I have opened it.So in summary:- Smells like animal, when in powder form.- Tastes wonderful (like chocolate milk) when mixed with water.- Smells nice and sweet when mixed with water.- Hard to mix, needs bender; otherwise clumpy.- Frothy when mixed, in blender.- Causes diarrhoea but with no pain.Overall 3 STARS, would have been 5 STARS if no runs! Big shame!
