Q: I'm looking for one that fits the Presto 01780. Does this one?

This does NOT fit the 01780. I accidentally purchased it for my 01780 (and yes, it does exist) and the ring is slightly too large for my canner. It will go in with some jiggling around but when you remove the lid from the canner it flops out. The Presto site lists part number 9905 (OPC9905) for the 01780 canner and Amazon carries it.
