I couldn’t find any Christmas placemats I liked. So I brought these and painted them with acrylic paints. They are a nice thickness and size. Overall very happy with the quality of them for the price. I can now turn them over and use them through the year.

Very good quality, they last forever, only purchased new set as needed more matts.

They look good to start with and are an ideal size. The one star deducted is only because if anything spills on them - like gravy - it is virtually impossible to remove. Good value though.

Ordered these to replace some cork mats that I'd had for years and years, but after long service they were getting brittle and cracked. These replacement ones are even better than I expected. They are an attractive colour, nice and thick, wipe easily and I thought a very good price. I would recommend them.

Great quality product

I do like these as they look nice and are made from a natural product, but they are much thinner than I had expected and are therefore quite flexible and could break easily. They are not coated but they say the cork is waterproof so cleaning is ok but due to them being quite flexible can really only be wiped rather than fully emersed in water.

A liitle smaller and thinner than expected but they do the job.

I needed smaller size heat-resistant placemats to protect the surface of a smaller wooden table, and these are perfect. They are large enough to fit the plates, but not so large that they cover up the whole table top and mess up the visual scale of the table. The cork is thick enough to do the job, but not too thick, so the mats are still flexible. The mats were shipped from Britain, so they took a little while to arrive, but I received them sooner than promised. They were worth the wait. -- they are perfect for my need.

Sehr schöne, etwas dickere Untersetzer, genau danach habe ich gesucht. Bitte vor der Bestellung die gewünschte Größe ausmessen, da diese Untersetzer nicht gerade für einen Essteller geeignet sind! Kaffeetasse und Kuchentellerchen passen drauf, für einen Essteller mit Besteck aber definitiv zu klein! Man sieht es auf dem Foto schon an dem Besteck, war darauf liegt (Maßstab).

I didn't get these to be used as placemats - I wanted to created a protective surface for a side table I have in the kitchen. So, they meet my need very well, though as another reviewer said, they are on the thinner side and might not hold up over time if used as placemats. Overall, though, I am happy with my purchase.
