Only need lowest settings at present . The heat however isn’t evenly distributed and the hand set get hot when in use. I always turn it off at the plug after use and wouldnt leave it on or unsupervised as could be a safety issue.

I’ve now bought two of these for my household & one as a gift. I do use these a lot in winter as it keeps the chills away & heating bills lower….I can’t fault the quality of these & in my opinion heats up well, it’s lovely & soft & worth the money!

Ok, so this electric over blanket is warm and cosy and for that thanks.Unfortunately, there is a crispy piece of paper at the pillow end with instructions and this gets in the way when turning over. Also, the blanket sheds lots of fluff.But: over and above all this was the way my parcel was 'delivered'. At about 10pm, there was a frightening loud bang at my front door and I really thought someone was trying to break in. I am on my own up here, and was scared. When I carefully opened my front door I discovered the parcel which was damaged and had clearly been thrown with force at my home. This is not good enough Amazon.

The fabric teture was great but the cord stopped working

I had a coral fleece throw which decided it didn't like being washed and stopped working afterwards. Mad rush to find something else, which wasn't easy given that the entire population of the UK seem to be buying heated throws like sweeties right now. This seemed the only feasible alternative as it had good reviews. Well, it's OK when it works. Had it for 2 days and sometimes it switches on, then next time you use it it won't. Sometimes while it's switched on it just cuts out and goes cold and won't switch on again and that can be anything from 15 mins after it's turned on so there's a fault somewhere with it. The other thing I'm not keen on is the way the back and front of it are loose rather than stitched together through the blanket - any other throws like this seem to be firmly stitched together making them easy to just lie along the sofa and throw over you but this one just seems to flop all over the place.

Love my blanket! So glad I did my research before picking one. This one does exactly what I want it to. What I generally do is switch it on full for about 20 minutes or so before I'm due to get in bed (SO nice when you get in; a treat every night!), then I turn it down to 2, and that keeps me warm and comfortable all night. The warmth runs from the bottom of the pillow right down to the foot of the bed, which is so important as I am a sufferer of cold feet! I used to have to use a hot water bottle every night, including in summer, but that is a thing of the past now. Another thing I love is the dual controls; they mean that I can have my side of the bed as warm as I need it without affecting my partner's comfort. I also love the fact that the timer can be set for up to 10 hours, as I can easily sleep this long on my day off! Another plus point is that the controls stay lit up for the duration that the blanket is on, so that you can see them in the night and alter the settings if needs be without having to turn the light on. I really like how the blanket is also more of a fitted sheet, which goes all the way round the mattress and stays in place. You really can't feel the wires in it at all, as others have said. The only small issue I have is that because the skirt is made of a slippery material, my own fitted sheet that goes over the top of it slips off at the top corners during the night, so virtually always needs tucking back round in the morning. But that really is the only slight niggle I have with it; otherwise, perfect! Thanks very much for a great product - one very happy customer :)

It's light but not as soft as I expected but it keeps you cozy and warm

This is easy to use and thicker than some It should be good on cold evenings.
