Not sure why it needs a power pack Overall arrived well before time and supplier did respond to my question on powerpack getting warm. Easy to connect but doesn't tell you how to empty condensed water. If you buy keep powerpack off the floor and there is Black rubber- open to get rid of water. Does do what it says ### ⭐ Wouldn't recommend *by E***I on 7 January 2017* One day it stopped working, after only a few weeks of operation! We left it to dry in case the water had caused some kind of circuit issue, but after weeks now it still doesn't work. I don't know if the guarantee could help?We were never quite happy anyway. We have a major condensation issue and high humidity levels but it never collected more that 500ml of water in 24 hours of operation.
