Sound and look great!
These cymbals are a great value compared to the expensive major brands. I am very happy with my purchase.

Black ones sound the best
I love these black cymbals so much I bought a second set! They have a good tone, and are all well matched (they all sound very similar but get deeper as the diameter increases). All sizes crash pretty well, the hihats and ride sound decent enough for recording with low volume drum heads. I also got the 18" black china and it sounds exactly like I hoped it would:) It is a little louder but what do you expect, it's a china! These aren't loud but I hit them hard so to almost completely deaden them, I just put some gel window clings on them so I can do most of my practicing at night when my daughter goes to bed.I've also had a gold set of these cymbals as well as a pair of silver Mosico cymbals. The Mosicos we're okay but a had a ring that sustained after being struck. The gold cymbal pack was even worse, very tinny so I sent those back. These black cymbals have a powder coated finish that just gives them a darker, more appealing sound.I really just wanted more than 4 cymbals to hit but I wanted them to sound good together, so I just went with 2 sets of black cymbals. I just add beads or other additions to duplicate cymbals to give them a trashier sound. I am also using the 14" and 16" for hi hats to get a different sound playing open handed. You can also stack different sizes to get a unique, trashy sound! BTW I use these with triggers and they work great too! These are the best low volume cymbals I've used!

Great practice cymbals.
Bought these for my practice kit In a small room. Trying to save what’s left of my hearing! That said, they work as advertised. The sticks and the bag are just a little bonus. I question why they supply 5’s instead of 7’s, if indeed you want a quieter sound, but they are just give-aways.Also please note these cymbals are not 14”, 16”, 18” or 20” in diameter, but a close metric equivalent, which comes out a bit smaller than the standard imperial dimensions. The hats are 35cm, the crashes are 40 and 45cm, and the ride is 50cm; which is anywhere from a quarter to half inch smaller. Not sure what the alloy is, but they are not magnetic, so if they are indeed stainless steel as stated, they are a better grade. The crashes and the ride sound good, quite bright, and have a nice shimmer when hit flat. I like them, but sound is a personal preference. If you want a darker explosive sound, you’ll hate these. The ride could use a little deeper bell for a bit more pang, but again these are for practice, not live stage performance! That being said, for a small acoustic gig, they would work nicely, and your audience and stage mates will appreciate the softer sound. Also really like that they don’t have any logo or other printing on them, just a nice clean finish. The hats? Both are real thin, and sound it. Not sure if a thicker gauge and/or bottom would help here. They play OK, but being perforated, don’t have that same trapped air ‘chunk’ when they close, more like a ‘tink’! Their sound aggravated me at first, but after working with them a while, I am over it. Having read other reviews of similar products, I knew this going into it. Again these are practice cymbals! I tried using my Sabian heavy bottom to see if that would help, but the size difference doesn’t work here, as 35cm is about 1/2” smaller than the standard 14” hats. All the cymbals are fairly thin, which is not a bad thing depending on your playing style, but not sure if these would survive a heavy metal drummer, even in a practice situation. I know several drummers that would likely shatter these even playing 7’s, let alone the 2’s they typically use. Just keep that in mind and in your expectations. For what I do; (jazz/country, soft rock), they will likely outlast me.For the price, and what you get? For the intended purpose, these are great!

Great souding
Not cheap or "clangy", ride is great sounding. Low volume is easy on my ears. Color is similar to my Paiste 2002's

Nice tone for the price
I do not plan on gigging with these, they're just for practice. With that in mind, they sound really neat. They don't have the tinny resonance that you get with the L80s. The hats sound more like an egg shaker when you use the foot pedal. I don't know if that's what they were going for, but it's a super cool sound. The ride is very quiet, which may turn some off, but, personally, I love being able to smash that thing without it getting too loud. I do not use the 16" crash, but I played it briefly and it appears to have the same features as the ride. The hi hats steal the show with this bundle!

Great sounding, low volume cymbals
I wanted an acoustic kit (as opposed to electronic), but also didn't want to drive the wife and neighbors insane. These cymbals and some mesh snap ons for the drum heads give me what I need. Incredible value and bonus items of gels and an extra key make it even more so.

Outstanding
The media could not be loaded. Recently sold my single-family home and bought a townhome so I needed to make the adjustment to a quieter drum set for the time being. I have a Rolland electric kit and a Tama star classic with the RTom Black hole Snap on mesh heads. These cymbals work perfectly with both drum kits. These are an incredible value. I opted for the black ones after reading all the reviews and I’m happy I went with the black ones because I do think the paint is a little heavier. Therefore there’s a little less sustain and ring on these cymbals. I added these to my Roland electric kit because I cannot stand the way the hard rubber Roland cymbals feel or respond.

The Black set sucked, but the Gold ones…
I purchased the black ones, cause on the comments people said that these are best sounding ones. But literally after 10 min using it. The hithat black paint started to chip away. 😣😩 they sound fine, low volume.. but if in only 10 min that happened… will these actually last more than a Month? I don’t know.Update: I returned the black ones and got a set of golden ones. Those are way better. sounded like cymbals, even the hihats sounded way better, nice low volume, super shiny and the best part, these don’t peel off like the black ones.

Excelente compra.

Great Value
I bought these to replace a broken Zildgian Gen 16 Hi Hat cymbal on my electronic kit. The Zildgian product is discontinued. The cymbals are good quality and are as advertised. I would recommend these for someone looking to do the same, or looking for lower volume cymbal. They actually sound quite good on their own and are slightly louder than the Zildjian cymbals.G.J.
