**Q: Does it work with sliding doors?**
A: I would say yes - the sensor and magnetic contact are separate - when sticking on try without removing the adhesive backing on either the magnet or sensor to get the correct position - when you have mark lightly with a pencil and then apply - mine work great and still give me a shock (with the noise) when i forget to flick the switch off. Hope it works well for you

**Q: When i installed the alarm on my door, i switched it on and it is continously making the alarm sound?? What do i do to stop it?**
A: Hi Ashley, possible because the gap between the alarm and little strip is larger than 10mm.
if so, the only way to stop it is to switch off.

**Q: Do both sections have to be at the same level as my door has a trim/lip which is 1.5cm higher**
A: They have to be level and in line I glued a piece of wood on frame to line up works great

**Q: Battery life since august 21 I have changed the batteries 3 times .The alarm has never been triggered, except when installed**
A: I can only say that my alarms are all working OK  and the batteries i have never changed since arriving about 4 months ago. Do you check they are working on a weekly period. If you have a spare 1 then leave set up in your home side by side. And check to see what's going on...

So far I have bought two packs of these one for my house and the other for a relative after they had someone try to get into their house. Plus side; they are loud and you can hear them at the opposite side of the house, easy to assemble. Downside is that for them to be effective they need to be side to side so if you have a back door that as a recess you can struggle to align them. To achieve this my relative managed to attach them to a piece of wood he fastened to the door so they could be aligned. Overall I feel safer and so does my relative.
