Brabantia 427169 Toilet Brush and Holder - Brilliant Steel

Well designed. The 'business' side: Brush feels substantial & handle is all in one, not 2 parts screwed together like some, plus the 'lid/splash shield' is higher up than others, which means that more of the toilet bowl is easy to reach without the lid bit touching the sides of the toilet when getting to the 'awkward bits'. Moreover, said lid/splash shield has a plastic rim, so if you do happen to scrape the toilet bowl with it, it doesn't scratch or leave a mark (unlike others I've used). The brush is quite large & has lots of bristles & seems to be effective. Being black & grey it might look better than a white one after lots of use (I think?). The plastic liner is very easy to take out to clean. You can also take the metal casing off the wall bracket to clean too, by pressing a plastic 'latch' on the bracket & turning the metal casing to release it. This bit is slightly more awkward depending on how easy it is for you to reach the 'latch' once the unit is in place on the wall. I think it has to be done firmly but gently, as the 'catch' bits are plastic & I suspect may break off if too roughly handled. OK once you get the knack. The metal case & bracket feel a bit less substantial than the brush itself, but they're just a receptacle for the brush, so seem fine as they are. The look?: Clean lines, simple classy look (as far as a toilet brush/holder can be classy?!!) - certainly as nice & as sturdy as the £120(!) ones I saw in some shops. I think well worth the £35. I've only been using this for a few weeks, but seems good quality & seems as if it will wear well, though the decades will tell!

Great Quality fits on the wall and is easy to locate and use. Leaves the floor uncluttered. Internal container holding the brush comes out for cleaning.

Expensive, but you won't find better quality of all the component parts for the money. The Rolls Royce of toilet brushes, lol!

I love this brush, it is slightly heavier and closes completely when the brush is placed back in the cannister. I would give it 5 stars, except it arrived with some small scratch marks on the top, which takes away from the design beauty. It is a very functional brush and does its job very well.

You pay for what you get. Amazingly sturdy, strong with a premium feel and heavy weight to it. Brushed metal looks modern and clean and the plastic container inside does not emit odours like in cheap plastic. Can suffer a bit of weight on the stick and does not snap like in cheap toilet brushes. Pros - Nice weighted feel Strong brush stick Good hard brush Self standing holder or can be wall mounted. Premium design Cons - A bit pricey for a toilet stick but you pay for what you get.

I love these toilet brushes as they come in several finishes from shiny stainless to matt or white/black coated. They are nice looking, sturdy, easy to keep clean and the brush is black... perfect colour for cleaning toilets! The heads last ages and you can get replacements too. You may think they're initially expensive, but long term they are great value. I've had mine years and they still look great. Highly recommended

Of all things toilet brush holder - this one does the trick. Its easy to clean, solid, well made, black brush head which is so much nicer than a white brush head (for obvious reasons for the job that it does), plastic rim round the lid so it closes tightly and does not leak if knocked over. I did not use the base unit to hang on the wall - its stiff but easy to take off. I can imagine that if you did want to hang this unit on the wall and remove regularly for cleaning - this could be quite difficult as it is not easy to remove. That's the only downside.

I love the quality of Brabantia products, and expect this to last a long time. It is wall mounted so easy to keep the floor clean below it. The brush is large and cleans well. Happy the brush is fully enclosed and no drips! It looks great in our downstairs toilet and we are now planing to get the matching toilet roll holder. Bonus it is cheaper on here than from the official site too.

Utilisé en complément du distributeur de savon Matt Steel, l'harmonie entre les produits est vraiment parfaite. Le produit est vraiment esthétique et de qualité. Meme la brosse! Elle nettoie vraiment bien. Le support s'accroche très facilement au mur avec deux vis fournit dans le kit. Après on accroche le "fut" en le clipsant dessus en quelques secondes. Il est bien sur très facile de le décrocher avec l'encoche prévu pour au bas du support si pour une raison quelconque on veut nettoyer le mur ou autre. Bien sur il est possible d'enlever le seau à l’intérieur pour le nettoyer --> chose qu'il n'est pas possible de faire sur beaucoup de brosse.

Bristles so stiff they don’t reach corners to clean! I sadly bought 3 for each of my bathrooms - big mistake 😡

Best brush out there. It is my third one. Last two ones are still brand new after 17 years! (same solid model). Brabantia the best!

Un producto bien acabado, limpio, que no se oxida, que no se tiñe ni mancha ( en referencia a la escobilla en sí ). Siempre miro los precios pero en este caso puedo decir que vale la pena pagar un poco más que por lo que se pagaría por una escobilla ordinaria.

...um so wichtiger, dass er etwas taugt! Es wird haufenweise Plunder angeboten und ich hatte mich zunächst auch an so einem Produkt vergriffen. Dieser hier ist aber von hoher Qualität und mit durchdachter Funktion. Alles ist solide und handlich. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist daher absolut ok. Zudem hat man die Freiheit, ihn entweder aufzustellen oder an die Wand zu hängen. Auch die Haltbarkeit ist überdurchschnittlich. Ich habe insges. vier "Örtchen" im Haus und davon jetzt zwei mit diesen Brabantia-Bürsten ausgestattet. Der ersten hab ich schon so um die 8 Jahre. Er wird von allen vieren am meisten benutzt und zeigt trotzdem noch keinerlei Schwächen. Diese Marke scheint tatsächlich noch für Qualität zu stehen.
