It does have a narrow opening but changing which way round the cable is can help. *by G***R on 6 July 2022* It seems to work well. I'm pleased with it. I replaced the shower hose and shower head at the same time. The main thing I learned was that the shower hose came with a label ('ve attached a picture) saying that the connections on the ends were the same, just with different widths, so to choose the end that fits best in the shower holder and just screw the other end into the shower. One end was narrower (as pictured) and fits well enough, the other end wouldn't fit into the shower head at all, so its worth trying your cable both ways round if you're having trouble. Visually the ends look so similar I would have thought they were the same if it hadn't told me they were different so I'd check this even if you think they're identical. Even holding the ends next to each other they looked the same to me. Its also the width of the connection of the shower hose that goes into the holder, not the base of the handle which is wider (the white plastic on my picture is the shower handle, the silver is the shower cable). It's easier to put the shower head back in the holder than it looks on the video, It turns out I'm not good at trying to do it with one hand while also looking at it on the camera screen with no depth perception. I didn't have any problems with the holder, it was easy to attach and worked fine straight away without any of the fiddling that seems to have been necessary in some of the other reviews. Because of how close my electric shower is to the rail it only fits this way round on mine - with the shorter end on that side. My electric shower is a Triton T80si.
