To me it being a little on the pricey side is a good enough value for my money for me because of its versatility: you can use it on literally anything. It has a decent shelf life, but it's never lasted long enough for me to really speak to its longevity. Between its salt content and how well it works. I'd say this brand has yet to fail us in a product yet!
