Ideal product, assembly difficult !
Product once assembled is fantastic, easy to manoeuvre and chunky wheels are great on rough ground. Very solid. Assembly, however, is neither quick nor easy ! It's almost impossible to use a wrench effectively as the space is tight to access a number of the bolts, etc. I ended up using pliers to grip and/or 2 ratchets, one either side, to grip and one to turn. Also, clearer instructions on attaching handle and postioning would be helpful !

Great quality
Bought as a birthday gift for my husband and he loves it. Its very good quality, sturdy and a very good size. Luckily the instruction manual for assembly was easy to follow which is good as this is not always the case when items arrive unassembled. Which brings me onto the assembly part. You will need an adjustable wrench, ratchet wrench, flat head screwdriver, 2 x people, small fingers, patience and a degree in engineering! It was no easy job and took a good while. However, was worth it in the end and thoroughly happy with end product

Perfect for fishing or uneven ground
Perfect for my Nephew who uses this for when he is fishing. I did expect it to be super simple to put together but took some common sense and a whole.lot of room and 2 pairs of hands and it came together. It's also perfect for uneven ground and grass.

It would help if the product was finished before despatch
"Simple assembly required - easy-to-follow instructions included". Well, that might be true if the quality control was any good. The front axle had such poor welding and grinding that several large burrs remained within the hole which fits over the threaded bolt on underside of the frame at the front of the cart. I spent a long time filing off the burrs and even then the hole is far too tight over the threaded bolt which necessitated using a hammer to get the axle down onto the frame. It will still not go all the way. The thread on the top of the bolt was very poorly cut and had been bashed in transit so I had to recut the first turn of the thread by hand to get the nut to achieve even three turns of purchase. Since this is the most important joint on the cart and the only one that HAS to be spot on, I'm not over-impressed. Having taken an hour to assemble, instead of the 15 minutes it should take we'll see how long that badly manufacturer joint lasts. If the buyer has to finish the manufacturing during assembly this cart should be cheaper.

A VASTLY IMPROVED GARDEN TRAILER COMPARED TO MANY COMMON PREDECESSORS
Almost exactly 6 years ago to the day, I bought one of the standard and very common green, mesh, 3ft garden carts for £113.34. Nowadays, you see them everywhere, and you can buy one for £50. I had no convenient space for it under cover, so it has stood outside in all weathers ever since, quietly rusting away - but it’s still serviceable, and I wouldn’t hesitate to pay the current price for one in return for 6yrs of life - a mere £8 a year. Now, however, a tyre has split, and since it was always a bit too small, I decided to upgrade rather than repair. I find this model, at £95 incl. delivery, to be a far cry from its predecessor, and like other reviewers, I find the sturdiness of the components impressive. It was also easier to assemble; the instructions suggest it’s a two person job, but this arthritic 86-yr-old managed it easily in about half an hour, albeit using the proper tools for the job, rather than the single adjustable spanner they recommend (and you’ll need two). I was less impressed with the press-stud-fitted plastic fabric lining. Press studs are a never an attachment of choice, and I think an easier, more reliable and potentially longer-lasting method could have been found. Secondly, the lining is waterproof, so if the trailer is left in the rain with the liner attached, it will fill with water. It would have been better to have used a free-draining fabric. Just make some holes, I guess... The only potential weak point in terms of rust and decay will be the mesh; but the old one, in a slightly smaller gauge, has stood up surprisingly well after 6 years of outdoor exposure, including being buried in snow several times, so I don't regard it as a problem.. I'm disappointed to see that at the time of review it's listed as unavailable; I hope this is soon remedied, for with a large garden, this is easily worth the extra cash, and promises to last a good deal longer than its predecessor; perhaps a lot longer than me...

Fabulous trolley and internal cover
Absolutely delighted with this garden trolley, I have terminal cancer and unable to walk far with items around like diy, plant pots this trolley is strong and sturdy the wheels are thick and they aren’t the solid type that you can get but I prefer the Pneumatic Tyres air as they are a smooth ride which will stop those flowers your transporting from your car to the place were your going to plant, you can let the sides down for easy access, it also comes with an internal cover which will save you getting dirt everywhere whilst transporting those flowers or trees, also stop you losing those small items. The price for the trolley and internal cover is fantastic and your getting a reliable name, I did have an issue at first and Van haus customer service were fabulous and quickly resolved my problem, I highly recommend you purchasing this trolley you won’t be disappointed

Used at a festival.
This review is specific to use at a festival so might not be appropriate for other applications. We purchased this cart for IoW festival this year as we had a lot to take and we didn’t fancy the 4 or 5 trips to the car. I am so glad we took this trolley because the Thursdays we arrived the rain was torrential and I would have given up without it! Assembly is fiddly but not overly complicated. As others have said, a socket set will make your life a hundred times easier when assembling the trolley. The beefy tyres had no issue navigating the sludge, mud and bumps. Others with smaller wheels, and things like shopping trolleys were struggling in places but this thing kept going. Weight distribution is very important once the trolley is stacked right up with cans and bags and chairs. Too much weight on the rear axle and it will tip back as you pull but too much at the front and it’ll be way harder to pull. Too much weight on one side and it might tip if you hit a bump at the wrong angle. This didn’t happen to us but we saw it happen to others. The handle is fairly short. I’m about 6’ and it was relatively had work to pull it along fully loaded, still nowhere near the amount of effort needed for the several trips otherwise. The price is expensive compared to alternatives. If you’re lucky and have gorgeous weather and are at the front of the car park then taking this might feel like a waste of money. If you’re like us, however, parked right at the back and trying to move a car boot’s worth of stuff on to (and off of) the campsite in the torrential rain, then you’ll be so glad you got this when you see people struggling with tiny wheels and flimsy carts. Take plenty of bungee cords with you to keep things centred and stable, no matter what trolley you buy. We took 10 and could have done with a couple more.

Sturdy, versatile cart
Nifty cart for hauling all kinds of stuff around the garden and yard. Holds about as much as a medium-sized wheelbarrow. The tires roll over obstacles easily, and the cart navigates stairs and other irregularities in the landscape pretty well even when the cart is loaded. Easy to assemble if you're reasonably mechanically inclined. In a couple of places I found the instructions a little vague (like how to install the panel locks), but I figured it out without too much trouble. The plastic liner is a nice accessory -- though I'm skeptical it is thick enough to last long with garden use. I've already poked a hole in it hauling branches. I'm considering making a liner out of a more durable material using the existing one as a template. Also, the one that came with it did have a strong manufactured plastic smell out of the box. After airing out overnight, though, the smell went away.
