I got this so that I could get safely up or down the stairs which has a dark spot with no light switch nearby, especially if my energy conscious husband switches off the light! It's light sensitive so it won't activate if the area is light but when you come near it, it activates. It comes on for 20 secs which is plenty long enough for me to get to down the stairs or reach the light switch, it takes 3 AAA batteries. You will also need a very slender cross head screwdriver because for some odd reason the battery appartment's lid needs you to unscrew a tiny screw to open it. Once you do that, the door seems to be clip without that screw. I'll run this for a while and if it continues to work well, I'll buy another one so I can have one at the bottom of the stairs too. I like the glow which the lamp gives out, very attractive.

These PIR lights are a must buy and switch on automatically when they detect motion. Started by using one top and bottom of the stairs for safety and was surprised how bright they are. Added one to the bathroom so the kids don’t need to switch the light on in the night. Since then I’ve bought another 2 for around the house. Easy to use, battery operated (so no costly electricity) and stay on when motion detected and then switching off meaning no wasted energy. If you have kids leaving every light on, or trying to save money, these are brilliant!!!! The first set I’ve had 2-3 years now and still going strong.

As advertised. I am using it in the hall at night on sensor mode and I find it very useful. Husband actually said it was very good! Definitely not a high end product as reflected in the price. Came already charged so haven’t tested charging yet. Would I buy another? Yes!

i had bought 1 was so impressed i bought two more. two of my kids seen them so gave them to them 🙈. now ordering MORE. my kids are ordering more too. i have one in the bedroom. in the hall & living room. i’ve no need to put any lights on 😁. VERY HAPPY

Great little purchase. Perfect for helping reduce my energy usage. No need to switch on the lights in rooms not occupied. I’m going to purchase more throughout the house.
