This drive will loose your data
This drive incorrectly reports as 256GB but actually only contains significantly less data. Worse than that it will quite accept writes up to its full capacity and you will only ever notice that your data is not stored when you read it. This is a relatively common problem with cheap USB sticks. Attached is a test report from a utility called ValiDrive clearly showing that the drive does not properly function for its entire storage capacity. ValiDrive is utility that validates if USB memory sticks properly provide all the storage they are reporting and I would recommend you check any USB memory with it to avoid products like this.If you read some of the other reviews you can see other people who were actually hit with data loss after using this product as well.
