**Q: Can you use it on a mountain bike?**
A: Hi Thomas,I have used this on all my MTB's over the years. It's a great product; I would however spray it onto a rag and then 'wipe' your disc's clean. Don't spray it from the can as this will of course spray onto other components on the bike, like hubs, spokes, rims, forks etc - at it may cause damage! I usually take the wheel off, and do it that way.

**Q: I’ve probably totally not read closely enough but just want to check.. Is this for mechanical disc breaks?**
A: mechanical/cable & hydraulic disc brake calipers/pads and disc rotors

**Q: My pads squeak badly! Now, cleaning the pads and rotor at same time. Do you just spray on to clear dirt?**
A: If your pads and discs are really dirty, give them a wash off with soapy water. Then apply Muc Off brake cleaner to clean off last traces of dirt.  
If your brakes are squealing badly, the pads may need removing and a thin coat of anti squeal grease to the rear of pads.
