The modern wonders of technology in the hands of geeks like us,
Can be used with many interfaces. Easiest way is to start with a serial RS232 link 9600. Use demo software to set it up for the different formats. As it is factory shipped in serial mode only. i got my demo software here. www.yanrfid.com/DOWNLOAD. there are two demo programs on the website, I found the one to be associated with the product would connect but fail to communicate . But the other download further down the page did. I set mine up to run on a pic chip as Wiegand 26bit that transmitted the tag ID over RF solutions Lora module to another Lora module on a PI for a race timing gate system. The demo software can also read/write to the tags.
