Very much suitable. This once help clear a nasty, messy post operative infection in an older rat and likely saved his life.

Is this suitable for canaries

Not sure as I got it for my dog it was recommended to me on the bottle it does say birds

It is works with spots ?

Yes I used this and some shampoo to resolve multiple spots on one of my dogs backs after a trip to groomers, and an adverse reaction, which caused folliculitis, also used on ponies. Good Stuff
