Successful experiment.
I am not a gardener. These grow like they say on the u-tube videos. I experimented with three planting locations. No fertilizer, just stuck them in the ground. Two locations were in bright sunlight and one somewhat shady. They love the sunlight. Despite being browsed on by deer they still produced, roughly a full five gallon pail. My only effort was to water them, perhaps three, maybe four times all summer. Nothing fancy, just dumped water on them from a pail. I found I prefer them raw, right out of the ground after washing. The texture is similar to a very firm potato and the taste is satisfactory. This is a good value for someone who wants to garden and doesn't have a clue. I didn't, still don't and was successful enough to be happy.

Nice Quality Jerusalem Artichoke Tubers Ready for Planting
My package of 20 live Jerusalem Artichoke Tubers looks great! They are all healthy, smell earthy and I can't wait to get them in the ground. Overall they are pretty good sized tubers, with many eyes on each one, and I will probably cut a few up to plant even more and spread them out.

These grow well with very little attention and good sunlight placement.
I planted these and only about 5 plants poped up. However the ones that did, grew giant with very minimal care. If anyone is interested in a survival garden, these are very hardy, very easy to grow and can stay in the ground all winter. I planted mine in mulch made from my own back yard leaves and twigs from last fall, and have been very pleased in there growth. Sunlight definately affects there size. I planted on both sides of my garden and the side with about 2 to 3 more hours of sunlight is 2x taller. It's not yet harvest time so I can't verify the roots yet. But it is getting close and I got some plants taller than I am. Very pleased to know they are as hardy as the rumors said. I literally only watered them a few times in the first month. Then let the rain water them the rest of the year. This is likely why they didn't all grow. However the ones that did, are very tall. Want a lazy garden like me? Great purchase idea. Highly recommend using mulch. Keeping in mind that each plant years 12-20 tubers a harvest since 5 succeeded out of 25. I'm looking at a harvest of at least 60 to 100 tubers from just 5 sucessful plants. That's in my opinion worth the money. But I'm a rookie gardener and I want to be clear to all, just because I only got 5 successes, doesn't mean you couldn't get 25. Where I am, the soil is very bad for plants ( red clay) and humidity rots a lot of ground root veggies. I have no doubt all the tubers were good quality.

Excellent quality
Fast shipping in a well packaged eye catching printed box. All tubers are awesome and healthy. Excellent sized and clean. I highly recommend buying from this company as they are very helpful and nice in communication as well quick to respond. And the product is top notch. I will definitely be buying more products from them. Its nice to receive items that are high quality and not misleading like some other companies.

Fresh, clean tubers - 100% germination rate!
I could not be more pleased with this purchase. At $33 for 25 tubers, it was a real bargain. They arrived fresh and clean. I have no idea how they removed so much dirt without scrubbing the delicate skin from the roots. The tubers were plump and looked like they had only come out of the ground the morning of getting shipped! My mistake was ordering them a little early so that I had to store these in my basement for a few weeks before the risk of frost was past. In that time, they started to dry out which scared me into thinking perhaps I'd ruined them. But no, I plopped them in some water and they plumped right back up! The next day my husband planted them into our garden patch and we saw sprouts within a couple weeks. Now, less than a month later every single tuber has sprouted. Some even have 2 - 3 sprouts popping out of them! Needless to say, we are thrilled with this purchase and would definitely buy from this seller again. Highly recommend!!

Good Fresh Tubers
Even though the delivery date ranged three weeks (which concerned me because it is getting late in the season), these Jerusalem artichokes arrived by the first date, being a week after ordering. The tubers were already sprouting, but some advanced shoots had already blackened at the ends and some had broken off in the shuffling of transport. No problem, the tubers were still fresh with new small shoots appearing, the pine shaving packing looks like it works well. The planting instructions that came with the box said to put 1 or 2 inches of soil over the top, however most of the video tips on youtube said to plant them 4 - 6 inches below surface so I did. They got lots of rain and just 4 days after planting, taking a peek at a tuber from which I scraped back the soil, there are fine root hairs growing and some sprouting greenish buds are evident. I probably didn't need as many as 25, but I got 28. I planted them into large containers.

Good condition
They arrived in good condition. Only issue is of my own making, forgetting about them for 2 weeks. They had molding issue, but I countered with a 24 hrs soak in 1 part 3% hydrogen peroxide and 3 parts water. The picture shows results. Had to go over and remove soggy, decayed type parts after bath that was probably due to the peroxide reaction to the mold.
