Super impressed with these
Inexpensive, but do the job. I kept these in the kitchen for a while to test their robustness and sharpness and was so impressed I left them there and bought another pair. Great for the price - and a backup to my Leatherman Raptors.

Good
Seems to be a good pair of inexpensive scissors. Very cparse grind so it doesn't slip when cutting.

See update - no longer brilliant scissors at a very good price
Update 9/11/22:I'd got a problem with the blade of my orange pair - it had a section of the blades that weren't cutting properly. So I decided to replace them with a new red pair.I've changed my rating from ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ to ⭐⭐, as the new pair were worse than the orange pair I was replacing. The blades aren't cutting correctly in one area. This isn't acceptable, especially when they cost £2.28 10mths ago and are now retailing at £3.20. So it's not brilliant scissors at a very good price, it's substandard scissors at a higher price. It's a shame as these (original) scissors have been amazing. However, with hindsight I realised that my orange (original) scissors were supplied by Amazon and my red (replacement) scissors were supplied by a third party seller. You may well receive a decent pair from a third party seller, but bear in mind my experience of receiving a substandard pair. To increase the price by such a margin is bad enough - to send poor quality products is quite another. The seller should be ashamed of themselves.I RECOMMEND THAT YOU ONLY BUY THE SCISSORS FROM AMAZON.✳️✳️✳️✳️✳️✳️✳️✳️✳️✳️✳️✳️✳️✳️✳️Original review:I must say that I haven't been cutting through jeans or other clothing, like you see on various A&E programmes.I've just used them as regular scissors, as part of my first aid kit. One day, they may face a bigger challenge, but for now it's the more mundane cutting of dressings and tape that they're used for.The scissors have worked well, never struggled with thick, fluffy dressings or kinesiology tape. They cost me less than £3, which is a fair price for the quality. Most first aid kits have rubbish scissors supplied. Don't struggle with poor scissors - get a pair like these and your first aid kit will be enhanced.I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend them. 9/11/22:I'd got a problem with the blade of my orange pair - it had a section of the blades that weren't cutting properly. very good
i was concerned they can only be used for light things from reading other reviews but i can confirm that they cut anything in my first aid kit, even the plastic ampoules. they can also cut through denim, bath towels and thick cardboard. the only think i haven't tried is electrical wires but i don't think they're designed for that.

Good enough for a first aid kit
I can't comment on longevity of these scissors as they are being used for defibrillator kits and hopefully won't need to be used on a regular basis. Not the strongest scissors, but for the price they are good enough. I bought 2 pairs and I tried them out on some old rags. Both pairs sliced through the material with relative ease. The flattened end should ensure that you won't inadvertently stab or slice open the patient. They are pretty sharp, so not suitable for children.Hopefully I won't need to use them, but I am confident they will do the job when needed.
