Theses were the right size for my doorway but they are a lot shorter than the original 3 1/2 that you get from a walmart. Even made new holes but after that the back part only goes so far onto the trim. The door shut but after a minute the door would start hitting the trim when closing and when all the way shut the gap between the trim and the door was just way to big. I even carved out the hinge slots on the trim with a Dremel tool and still didn't work.

It did exactly what it was supposed to do, which a reason to celebrate because I was having a very hard time finding one that actually worked and fit my door and color...The only issue is that the pin doesn't go all the way in. Not a big deal, as the door opens enough and hopefully it won't cause any problems.

I have never heard of these hinges until recently and had to install them in my condo.What helped me was changing the middle hinge on the door first.There are some instructional videos available on YouTube but not too many.Just remember when putting in the pins they’re supposed to not go all the way into the holes in the hinge.I have a heavy steel door so I had to adjust the hinges to the strongest setting.I got the hinges for both my front door and back door.I love the fact that it closes automatically and my dog won’t be able to sneak out of the condo.
