Uni Nano Diamond Refill Leads Low-friction for Mechanical Pencil 0.5mm Ref 5037722 [Pack 24]

This seems a bit trivial, I know, reviewing lead for a mechanical pencil (or propelling pencil, as they called them in my day). However, it has to be said: these leads (and the pencil for which they are intended, the curiously named Kuru Toga) are brilliant.These leads really are better than the average pencil lead. I haven't had one break on me yet, and they seem to last longer as well.Buy a pack - you won't be disappointed (buy a Kuru Toga, while you're at it - a superb mechanical pencil).

I use these with my uni-ball kuru toga high grade and they work as I expect them to, there really is nothing special about them except they are quite hard for HB which could be a positive but can make it hard to shade evenly.

The order was delivered on time. The leads are strong and unlike others don't break when using them.

These leads can take the strain more than others. It can be so annoying when you apply just a little too much pressure to a lead which has popped out of the pencil just a little more than required. I'm not saying they are full proof and don't break. They do. But no where as often as others. it must be something to do with the bits of diamond they have in them.Buy them and stick them in any mechanical pencil and see the difference.

These lead refills fit the Rotring mechanical pencil perfectly well (assuming you choose the correct lead size) and function effectively. They are pretty much alike most other branded replacement leads.

This is a great lead to use with kuru toga mechanical pencils!

The picture shown is not what you'll get. You'll get two tiny tubs instead with nowhere near as nice packaging. I would happily give 5 stars if I got the product that I purchased. The packaging looks tacky like they're a fake make but not had any issues with the leads so guess they're legit, just annoying I didn't get the nice pic as advertised.
