The media could not be loaded.  They work great with Alexa Home app and sync with wifi to Alexa dot or echo. Also, there is another app you can download to controll from phone if you do not have an Alexa. Light show is epic. Light beat to music, TV, and computer games. Perfect timing smooth transition.

The brightness is good and so are static colors, but when it gets to the effects most of them are not great at all and very choppy and not so smooth. I would recommend for static colors but not effect. I would it a 3.5 if I could.

These are low end lights that are fine for behind the TV or monitor. As others have said, they're a little choppy, and the app is limited. I had them in use for a while then they went back in the box.

These light bars are solidly constructed and feel very well-made despite being primarily plastic. They're super bright, and the light diffusers mask each individual LED far better than some other light bars I've seen lately. Each bar is wired together with generously-sized cables, so they'll stay in sync with one another and should reach a power outlet just fine. The inline remote can cycle through modes and has a power button right on it, but you'll want to use the app. Whenever I selected a light mode with the remote, it would automatically cycle between modes after a certain amount of time. I did not appreciate that and couldn't figure out a way to turn it off from the attached remote alone.Now, the app... I could NOT get the app to connect via 2.4GHz. It specifies that it doesn't work with 5GHz wifi, but connecting to my router's 2.4ghz band was somehow making my modem (??) freak out. While the app looks professional and has lots of products to choose from (except these light bars which cannot be added manually yet), it requires an account to be created and has zero reviews on the Google Play store at the time of writing. Assuming it's a brand new app, perhaps there are some bugs that still need to be ironed out. I've NEVER seen the LEDs on my modem flicker the way they did when I was trying to connect to this app, so I'm scared to try this method again in case something actually gets damaged. This is most likely something on my end since other customers seem to be finding success, but I currently use several Hue lights without any problem so that's just where I'm coming from.I did however manage to use the NFC scanning feature to trigger the bluetooth connection when the lights were on pairing standby. This doesn't seem 100% reliable and takes a few tries to get working each time, but it's the only way that works for me. Thankfully the light bars remember their last setting when you turn them off, so I'll only need to redo the bluetooth pairing anytime I want to change my scene. For now, I'm happy with the lights providing a warm ambient light behind my TV.I'm also disappointed that there is no gradual hue shift mode. It seems like the board powering a lot these cheaper RGB lights just isn't programmed to do a simple RGB hue shift cycle like I've seen on most other RGB products like keyboards, mice, and mousepads. Slowing the speed down in dynamic modes also makes the animation jumpy, so I can't say I'm the biggest fan of the RGB implementation here. You can create a lot of your own customizations with the app if you enjoy tinkering, but it's still somewhat limited.Honestly, though, if you're not super picky these bars should offer more than enough and be a smarter alternative to other overpriced options. Just be prepared in case things don't go smoothly!

Easy set up out the package and look great when turned on. Instead of vertical, I laid them horizontally under the tv to add a cool effect when watching a movie or playing a game. Well worth the purchase.

Hitonass Smart LED Light BarsThis is a beautiful little smart light bar and definitely my favorite of the ones I've tried recently. We were able to pair it easily with the Smart Life app (which we already had installed for a whole slew of other smart items) and from there link it easily to the Alexa app. The whole thing took less than a minute. There's no remote, which is honestly my preference because I worry about losing remotes. Instead, you operate the lights from an on/off button on the cord and from the Smart Life app where you can fine-tine all the colors and speeds and brightness and options.There were only a few presets to choose from when I first setup the lights, but then Smart Life told me there was a software update for the lights and that introduced a whole bunch more presets to play with. If there's nothing in the presets that tickles your fancy, you can setup patterns of your own. The light bars are easy to snap in and out of their stands, but I don't love that the light bar kinda has to sit on its own cord; I would have made a little slot in the back for the cord to peek out. I should note that there's no slots in the back to hang the bar on the wall, so you'll need sticky command strips or museum putty for that.We're really happy with this bar and I foresee using it a lot in the future. I'm most pleased with the sleek look and curved bevels on the bar, as it fits my decor aesthetic very well.NOTE: This review is based on a free advance review product provided through Amazon Vine.~ Ana Mardoll

We put this on our TV stand and use it kind of like backlighting that some tvs have. The light was bright, colors were vivid. It does have multiple settings that you can adjust, different music settings and fluctuations in how the light strobes. The only issue was with the music, it didn't really seem to sync at all with the beat like expected. I thought it would match it with the light changing or flickering. But no. Still a great light tho, and you can set timers and such using the app, so you don't have to worry about it being on after you fall asleep etc.

Es könnten noch ein paar schönere Effekte dabei sein, nicht nur einfarbiges Wabern und Blinken. Dann wäre ich glücklich damit. Aber auch so für den Preis schön buntes Licht hinterm TV.

Die Helligkeit ist nicht besonders stark und die Farben lassen sich auch nur grob einstellen.Funktioniert aber mit Alexa wunderbar, jedoch ist die Einrichtung etwas fummelig.

Ging bei mir wieder zurück..Eine Lampe hatte ein Kabelbruch.Trotzdem hatte ich ein Versuch gemacht diese mal einzustellen.Wie immer könnten die Lampen nicht mit wlan 2,4 verbunden werden, da das 5,0 wlan mit an war. Dies kann ich nicht abschalten, da mein Tablet und Handy darauf funktionieren.Desweiteren sind mir die Kabel viel zu kurz.Von dem selben Verkäufer habe ich eine Hintergrund mit einer syn Box gekauft. Bevor ich diese aber an meinen TV anbringen wollte ,habe ich diese erstmal auf funktionieren geprüft. Und diese installiesierte sich bei 2,4 wlan..Obwohl das wlan 5,0 an war. Diese werde ich diese Woche erstmal am Fernseher anbringen und bin gespannt ob diese mir das Ambilight ersetzt.
