As others have said, the lights work in the Smart Life app, but Alexa cannot find them. But, you can add "scenes" in the Smart Life app, and Alexa is able to find those. So, I added a lights on, and a lights off scene.

The led module had two choices of apps to control the led’s setting. Choose one app and the thing never connected. Used their choice of apps smart life and connected first try. Connecting the app brought the unit together with unlimited choice of colors with many extra features. Expensive but worth every dime. It is awesome. The led ribbon fit our 65 inch to the glove. It bring depth into to your ambiance and even entertain you. It made our Samsung neo qled tv a better set.. you can’t go wrong with this power house. If the app guys smart isn’t working try the other one, smart life works. You have to use the correct type of device once in the software. Lighting, wifi strip lights

The lights are bright and with the remote you are able to change the colors. I would recommend this product.

Really isn't anything that I dislike about it it's easy to program I love the way it lights up behind and it adds so much to the the picture of the TV it's a great Buy

Reasonable performance with poor installation design considerations.I have a 65" Samsung TV. These lights as provided are too long for installing on this TV. They may work better for a larger screen size.The light strips themselves would have been a perfect length had the manufacturer provided appropriate corner connectors (with the exception of the control box connection which should have had a better corner connection). As it was I was forced to cut the strips to an appropriate length and use third party strip light corner connectors to appropriately fit the TV. Why did the manufacturer not provide these items, since this is an obvious problem for 65" TV's?The adhesive holds very well on the back of the TV and I appreciate the USB power connection to the TV that turns the lights on and off with the TV. I do wish that the lights were a bit brighter, as they are only useful in a very low-light environment.The remote control works well from reasonable distances, and a nice variety of colors is easily accessible. I have not tried any music sync features or attempted to set up with Alexa or Google Assistant.In summary, these lights are OK, particularly for the price, but there may be better alternatives available.

The lights themselves, are nice. The adhesive is the same as all other companies and it will either stick well, or not. For me it stuck okay. The remote has multiple functions but, the app makes this even better. Unfortunately, the controller was never able to be linked to ALEXA. It is picked up by the app, the skill is enabled and yet, ALEXA just won't pick it up. I have other led devices linked under the same app so, the issue was assumed to be the controller. The seller offered to send me a replacement that was supposed to be here a week ago. USPS lost the package and the seller refuses to do anything more to help me locate it now. The seller works out of Hong Kong so, communication was slow but, they were responsive. Too bad my replacement was lost when transferred from AMAZON to USPS.

Nice addition to any television and enhances the viewing experience.

I've bought these multiple times and I've constantly had issues with the adhesion. They fall off rather easily after a short period of time.Also, some of the lights on different strands I've noticed won't coordinate with the rest of the lights. On a few of the settings I've noticed this as well.A thing I wish you could do was connect multiple strands of lights and control them from one remote, or even from an app.Overall, they're pretty decent lights for the price and last longer than expected.

The information advertised on this product is false. This product does not connect with Alexa(Amazon) or Google.Even the box that arrived with it did not indicate it and the catalogue / manual inside too does not show it. I tried configuring it and it did not work either
