This worked like magic. I can't thank the manufacturer enough. I was mortified with hundreds of cluster flies but as I suffer from COPD I was struggling to breathe using household fly spray. This smoke bomb eradicated them all on first use. I was able to light the fuse and close the bedroom door so as not to breathe in the smoke. Not a single fly left the following morning or since. I can't recommend this product highly enough. I'm so grateful. Thank you.

Worked very well for flies in our attic. We set off 2 bombs on one day in different attics, and again one week later. Not had any flies since. We will keep the last 2 of the set of 6 that we bought, and perhaps set those off later in the year as an insurance policy! There is a definite smell. I would advise that you close all doors of the room where the loft hatch is, and open windows where possible. We did ours first thing in the morning so that it had all day for the smell to go, as our bedroom was next to the room where one loft hatch was. The other loft hatch was in the hall which also ajoined our bedroom, so we closed the bedroom door and opened the windows wide in there too. The smell hung around for 2 days and unfortunately, the smell still got into our bedroom because it seeped through our downlighters in the bedroom ceiling - so if you have downlighters, do tape up around them first, to seal them really well, before lighting the bombs, and make sure no one turns the lights on while they are taped up, to prevent electrical accidents!! It took a few minutes for the smoke bomb to really smoke, but I would advise that the person lighting up the smoke bomb, wear a mask just in case, especially if they are sensitive. All in all, a very effective product.

Bought to clear loft of flies hatched in springtime. As is the case most of the time, the flies had all gone before the items arrived, not due to any delay in delivery I must add. those that could not find a way out had died. Kept the items for next year

I have bought this product multiple times to treat cluster fly issues in various loft spaces and out-buildings on a farm. The product is easy to light, with a good wick. It does emit a large amount of smoke, so be aware of smoke alarms and be careful not to inhale. It can permeate through down-lights as mentioned in other reviews, and can impact any fabric in a room. I'd agree that the product has low residual odour but still persists for several days. You need a heat-proof base to go underneath the bomb as it does get hot as it burns. Expect to need multiple treatments, with 2x per year a good recommendation. Very effective product and would purchase again.

I set up 3 of these on a baking tray in the garage and set them alight. Within 30 mins the smoke had gone into the cavity walls exactly as we were hoping and killed all the cluster flys. Very strong stuff. Thanks

I must say this was great. Opened my lounge door one morning and it was absolutely over run with big bottle flies. It was actually scary to go in, there were so many and it stunk! Bought these based on previous reviews on amazon. Followed the instructions but did use 4 in the room because I thought the size was small. Sealed the door with plastic sheeting after starting them and stayed out for more than the 24 hours. Smoke had all gone when I opened it up and the carpet looked black with all the dead flies on it! Disgusting topic I know and I was very shocked it happened in my house! The culprit- a poor bird had fallen down through the chimney breast which was open at the time due to renovation. Haven’t had any more since so very happy with the result of this product.
