Magic in a jar 🌟
Even after all the rave reviews I was sceptical, but I tried it and omg it is like magic in a jar and yes as the others are saying, a little goes a long way next thing you know you’ve gilded your house, well maybe not that far but it really is that nice, colour is beautiful, I checked it after a few hours and it was bone dry and it has the right effect but I’m gona go in for the mix it up with trying different colours on item and I don’t think I’m gona be disappointed

Gold Gilding wax
Loved this wax, super easy to use and a little went a long way, I did an over-mantle mirror in about 30minutes and had never used before. Knocked a star off as the lid was broken, so means it does not do back up, and don’t know if the wax will remain soft, had to put in a plastic bag, and only time will tell, needs to be package slightly better.

Stunning waxes
These Gilding waxes are nothing sort of magical! I can't believe how they transform dull looking objects into something you would find in a venetian palace. I can't stop using them. At this rate my living room will look like Versailles.

Golden touch!
This added a little Christmas magic to a sleigh we built, a gold band round the edge really made it look magical for the kids. Easy to apply and goes a lot further than you think. Dries quickly and good quality. If I needed, I would buy again!

Waxing Lyrical.
I cannot say enough for this gilding wax so I will let the results speak for themselves. I have an old Victorian house with several fireplaces with brass or copper hoods. They were in a bad way and though I tried other methods to clean/shine them, they were still a disaster. Enter Gedeo. Just wow! Easy to go on and looks amazing. I have shown the copper before and after and also the brass (gold) halfway through and then the finished article. My sister has since used them on the ornamental resin dolphin base of a table and it looks amazing and has avoided the tip. Anyway, I'm happy and I'm sure I will find many more uses for this incredible stuff. Smells a bit turpentiney but then I wouldn't expect Chanel No. 5.

Je n'ai pas réussi à restaurer mes cadres de tableaux lisses dorés. On voit les traces. La couleur est bien.

I like everything about this product. It surpassed my expectations. Super easy to use. Made my little pink jewelry box look like an old world classic. Only wish they would give you a bit more for the cost. Despite that, I love it so much I will be buying it again.

I LOVE this product! I researched for a long time before I bought it -- I wanted the right color of gold, one that was "thick" enough, and a product that would hold up over time. I have been restoring a very damaged metal statue and needed a good paint. It had to be a rub so the indented designs in the statue wouldn't get filled with paint. I bought this even though it was pricey. I painted/rubbed this whole 2.5 foot statue, front and back, and even being generous probably used less than a measuring tablespoon and have at least 2/3s of the jar left for other projects. Color: The color is nice. I would have liked it to be a bit "warmer " but it is a nice color of gold. It is not shiny and also not matte -- it is sort of a satin finish. The gold doesn't "sparkle". Application: The paint itself is a rub that is easy to rub on with a finger (the instructions say to use a glove, but if you do you can't manipulate the paint as well), piece of cloth, or a brush. Drying time: It dries in an hour or so to touchable, but it needs to sit a few days to be sure it is set. When using, it is important to take a little bit out of the jar and put it in a container or piece of waxed paper that you can throw away. That bit needs to be used in about an hour because it starts to harden and becomes harder to use. The pain adhered nicely to a rust converter that I painted the statue with first. If you paint for a long period right out of the jar, you risk letting the paint get too hard and you won't be able to use it again. Clean-up: I used Speedball Pink Soap. Someone suggested Dawn Dishwashing Detergent but it didn't work. The Pink Soap dud the trick on my brushes, not my hands. It wears off my hands after about a day. Other uses: I also used this on some paper. You can burnish it to a shine on paper but I don't seem to be able to do it on the statue. Overall: I think it is a good quality product and a good value for your money. Though it is a tiny amount, it goes a very long way!

I bought this cause I was trying out some crafts. This glides on smooth and the color gold is awesome. Great to use as a highlight.
