GSD one is mostly made of rice (gentle on sensitive stomachs) Maxi is mostly maize (corn).

What is the difference between the Maxi food and the German Shepherd food?

The Maxi is a more generic quality food for all large dogs - the GS food is more specific - Royal Canin web site has more information - personally the Maxi is great for my 2 year old GS ( Police Stock)
