This was perfect in every way! I didn’t want to pay exorbitant prices for sole protectors and decided to try making my own. Chose this particular one as it was the only 3M one (at the time of purchase). And I am extremely happy with the results. There were no instructions included with the product or in the item description but it’s no different to any other vinyl wrap , so I managed to apply it easily (water out of a spray gun with a drop or two of baby shampoo or washing up liquid) and a heat gun is definitely necessary. I had no issues with applying the wrap to my sneakers and it works well. Can’t fault it. For sneaker heads, if using this for your shoes remember to get and apply some skateboard grip after. Five stars and one very happy customer!

Although this did not have any 3M branding, which makes me wonder if this is genuine. It still does the job. The film is vinyl, so does stretch and form to what you want to cover. I used it to protect my car door around the handles from scratching rings. Will see how long it stays on and how well it protects, but for now, seems good.

I used this to protect my carbon frame from rock impacts - enduro mtb. This is very thin membrane, not proper for the vulnerable areas of the frame, but for "lift" scratches is ideal. Shiny transparent, it is very difficult to detect this from distance even of 0.5m. The application was also extremely easy - i did not use soap and water. Highly recommended for top tube, headtube, seat stays protection. For my large frame, full suspension bike, I would need 2 items of this.

A good product and easy to cut to the required shapes. Bought for protecting the tank on my motorcycle.

Be sure to clean surfaces thoroughly before applying and you’ll be fine. I used Spectacle wipes. Keeps my kick plates looking good. May buy more for bonnet and headlights.

The only helicopter tape (for bikes) I've found that seems to work properly.

This went straight in the bin. I was expecting it to be clear but it's not clear at all, it has a blurry finish to it. Applying it makes it look like you have stuck cling film on the object. Rubbish.

Packaging wasnt great and the film has some folds in it.
