its a true oo1 star
i can not say anything good about these rifles, i have bought 4 of them in different styles hoping that the first and second and third ones i have where a fluk. i have even taken them apart to see what is breaking and its everything on the internet that everyone are talking about . the fun to use is very short as in you do not need more than 30 rounds before the rifle breaks one way or another, co2 blowouts, speed of pellet = slow. function of action = terrible and the last time i bought one it came without a clip for the pettets and the one i bougth is stuck in the rifle and i will have to take it apart to retrieve the clip

Okay for plinking
My reason for buying this was to have the 30rd magazine capacity and that it is gas operated. I did not want a break barrel, or underlever pellet gun for varmint control because you have to break your sight picture, crank the weapon open, reload it, reacquire sight picture and hope you get another shot (if you missed).I also liked that I am familiar with the pattern of rifle and its ergonomics.let's start with the not-so-good things first.preface: I used only Sig branded 90 gram CO2 cartridges and Crosman Destroyer 7.4gr lead pellets in my initial set up and review.- The folding iron sights are airsoft grade junk, they don't lock into place, they have tons of play and don't really offer much for accuracy. That said I did manage 1" groups at about 25 feet. solidly "meh". I purchased a fixed 3X reflex optic that claims "4moa" accuracy and it made the close range grouping better, but did nothing to improve accuracy past 25 feet.- The muzzle velocity is hilariously bad for a CO2 .177 cal pellet rifle. sub 600FPS. ouch. Almost every lever gun or break barrel that you can buy at the store are rated around 1000fps.- Accuracy at distance, it doesn't have any. My yard is 100 feet from where I'm shooting to my target backstop, using state certified property survey markers as a reference. It shoots low and all over the place.- The stock is not adjustable. This is a design feature to accommodate the CO2 cartridge.- The barrel shroud is removable but it is also what holds the barrel, if you take it off the barrel just flops around loose.- The "MLOK" handguards are decent facsimile but really not up to par, and are held in with Phillips head screws.- It's kind of loud for a little pellet rifle. My .22lr with sub sonic ammo (no suppressor) is not much louder. than this.- The charging handle serves no purpose from what I can tell. It moves, it makes some kind of mechanical engagement noise, but doesn't cycle the magazine or reload. The trigger is DA every time, regardless of the charging handle.Okay. Now for some of the "good" qualities.- The magazine works really well, you can shoot it as quickly as you can and it wont misfeed or bind up.- You can use some actual AR accessories on this, foregrips, pistol grip, flashlight, optics, slings.- Really fun for plinking stuff up close, load a few magazines and go to town on cans and stuff.- You can upgrade this model with a PCP tank and regulator, that said it doesn't fix the poor velocity or accuracy.- It will shoot just about every type of .177 pellet on the market. I tried a whole bunch of different weight/brands of pellet in an attempt to make it lethal enough for varmints.- It feels like an AR, same weight, same size, same ergonomics.Ultimately this did not do what I wanted it to do. I wound up buying a Pre Charged Pneumatic mag fed bolt action .22 pellet gun for my varmint hunting. for the price, this is a heavy "Meh" don't buy.If you are only concerned with back yard plinking at relatively short distance and you absolutely need it to look "real" then I guess you'll do what I did and ignore the reviews and buy it anyway. If you plan to buy for varmint mitigation then I highly suggest expanding you price range another hundred dollars and getting something suited for the task, this wont kill a squirrel.TLDR: NOT adequate for accurate "long range" shots or varmint control. It is good for plinking and not much else.

Beast
This air rifle is a beast, not for its power or anything, but because it matches the real weapon’s weight and feels like a solid firearm. For a pellet gun that is .177, it’s a lot of fun to shoot and is pretty accurate out of the box with the attached sights. Great for plinking at targets. 90gr co2 cartridges aren’t cheap and though there is a PCP tank adapter and butt stock, it seems to get mixed reviews so I’ll keep using the co2.Would have been awesome if it came with two magazines, you will go through the 30 rounds before you know it because it’s so fun.

Excellent out if the box unit.
Very accurate out of the box this platform functions flawlessly and is an excellent tool for taking out unwanted vermin. I use it to remove venomous snakes on my boat dock without damaging the dock or boat.
