STUNNING...But not for beginners!
First of all...who does not LOVE ANNE STOKES? She is hard not to adore as a sexy, dark, illustrator, I will be honest as beautiful and great quality these cards are I would not recommend them for beginners, In a way it is good to try and go by your intuition rather than what you see which is a big part of tarot anyway, If you are going to practice and build your confidence these are quite hard to read if you are used to the Ryder waites, but please do buy them and practice and don't be afraid of them, but I recommend you don't rely too much if your a beginner, if your a pro who tend to go more by instinct anyways then they might not be so hard to use for you to use. Definatly worth getting as a collector but as having them as your one standard average pack may not work for you as they are not as depictive by face value. But yes absolutely stunning!

Stunning.
I cannot emphasize enough just how beautiful this deck is. This is my first deck and whilst browsing a few my eyes jolted to a halt on these. I sat in awe for a good half an hour upon opening the box admiring them, the only word that comes to mind is stunning. Absolutely stunning. They are a lovely size to carry around and look durable enough for me to fawn over them for many years to come! Perfect deck for anyone in love with dragons, unicorns, vampires, faeries and the like! Anne Stokes is an incredibly talented lady, I encourage anyone who feels attracted to this deck to get one for yourself, I certainly don't regret doing so!

Beautifully designed
I bought these for my niece for her birthday, and she absolutely loved them. I'm a fan of Anne Stokes and her Art work is beautiful anyway, but these cards are amazing. Well worth the buy. And one very happy niece

Beautiful cards!! Strength & Justice mix up is the only downside
Lovely quality cards, sooo nice to shuffle, beautifully printed. At first I was a little disappointed by the artwork on the minor arcana between 2 and 10 of each suit as they are simply represented by a corresponding number of symbols - feathers for swords, bats for cups, dragon emblems for wands & skulls for pentacles, but after working with the cards they started to resonate immediately so it didn’t matter. This would definitely make it harder for beginners to use this deck though - there is a small guide to the cards included but it’s not sufficient info for a beginner. I’m also not a huge fan of the pentacles being represented by skulls, possibly because I’m an Earth sign myself! But, I can get over this. The main thing which stopped me giving a 5 star rating is that Strength & Justice in the major arcana have been reversed - VIII has been printed as Justice and XI as Strength, when it should be the other way around. This really threw me when I first saw it but I’ll take it as an oddity specific to this deck, and as I mix with 2 other existing decks it adds a certain rarity I suppose, but personally I believe they should be the other way around. I would still buy other decks from this range in the future and overall I’m pleased with the purchase.

Beautiful artwork but not beginner friendly!
I ordered this as my first tarot deck. Quick and good delivery and the artwork is so so vivid and eye-catching but this deck is not beginner friendly. If you don't know anything about the tarot the imagery in the deck doesn't give you much to go by. The card is nice to hold and the visuals are great but for me this deck works better for someone who has already studied tarot. But a beautiful deck overall. Don't regret my purchase!

Weirdest tarot of all time!
A very beautiful deck. Fine and slippery card stock. Probably the most colourful deck ever! It's a deep deck and some of the images are a little gory to say the least! If you lay a few cards out on the table it looks like you have brought home road kill!....I love the deck!

Beautiful
Beautiful deck! I had my first one for 20 years so was looking for a replacement and this is perfect. The cards are of good quality and thickness, the illustrations are amazing and inspiring, and the little booklet is useful for starters (although if you’re getting into tarot properly I recommend researching the cards online or getting a book on tarot).

Great cards. Disappointing deck
Honestly, the cards themselves are beautiful. But what is disappointing is the “guidebook.” It was more like a flimsy brochure. While it was admirable that the book has many languages, as someone who relies on English I was disappointed over the misprint. A large chunk of English was missing and what was present was out of order, starting with little to no explanation about what card it was talking about. So confusing. I recommend buying this deck if you’d like to see splendid art. But to actually use the cards? You may have to get a book elsewhere or watch a video.
