How much salt is needed, as on watching demo it seems rather alot for a childs intake.. thanks

The instructions clearly state in bold “Do not add salt to the slushie “. It goes in a section to help the ice not in the drink

No, it is just the machine. You’ll need to have syrup, ice and salt for making the slush. (The salt doesn’t go in the drink).
