JVL oval willow wicker pet cat dog basket 58 x 49 x 20 cm

Brought originally for my jack Russell dog but my cat took over. He absolutely love it, sleeps there all the time, so have to get different bed for my dog. Basket is big enough for medium size dog or any cat, well made, nice colour and very sturdy . Arrived very quickly

You can never tell if your cat will take to a new treat or toy until you try it. Ours took to this basket instantly and now sleeps in it every night. It's exactly the right size, the quality of construction is great, it looks good and was excellent value. Would recommend them to anyone !

There were some mixed reviews for this but I decided to order one for my cat. It is a lovely well made wicker basket, nice size for my large cat, who loves it. I have put two soft folded blankets in it and she spends lots of hours curled up asleep in it. Happy cat. Happy cat owner. Plus it looks a lot nicer than an old cardboard box!

Excellent for larger cats. We got one of these JVL baskets initially and our blind 3 year old silver tabby cross Mia immediately took up residence. Her sighted twin brother Max now only had a smaller round basket 40 cms in diameter which was bought many years ago for our last cat, now sadly deceased. Max looked somewhat cramped ( darker cat in picture) curled up in the smaller basket and kept trying to oust Mia from her new basket or made a point of reclining half in and half out of the old basket, so we ordered another one of these oval JVL baskets. Would he use it? No...such are the joys of cats!We have padded it out (I used the bubble wrap it came in!) and covered that with their original old and fur strewn blankets.The basket itself maybe a bit flimsy compared to our original basket, but as we are not planning on taking it anywhere it's fine for what we need and I can't see the point of buying a more expensive version. Hence the 4 stars, but I think it's good value for the money. They do seem to like the rim of the basket to rest their heads on.P.S Max has now deigned to use it occasionally and does seem to appreciate that he can now stretch out better in the new basket, but still pointedly lies at full stretch on the carpet in front of the basket. He's not getting a larger one!

My cat is very fussy about material she sleeps on and isn't keen on anything furry, so I thought the best thing would be to buy a wicker basket and put whatever bedding suits her moods. Neither of us have been disappointed, it looks great, is nice and sturdy and at the moment she's happy with a folded blanket. Cat is not used to having a bed, she sleeps on the conservatory sofa most of the time but as the cooler weather arrives I have placed this by the radiator in the kitchen and she took to it straightaway. A really nice buy.

This is ok and will do the job of having a space for our cat rather than leaving cushions/blankets out for her but beware, this thing has lots of sharp edges!

No negatives about this product. Very well made, delivery and communication excellent would recommend company and product

Lovely basket - excellent value. Perfect size for my very large cat. Obviously you can't tell a cat where to sleep so just left if by the fire with a blanket in it. He settled himself straight away and loves it. Very cosy.

Product is okay, but my problem was the costly shipping that I didn’t notice until after my order had shipped. I didn’t like paying a shipping price that’s twice the cost of item.
