Q: Anyone use it with a Samsung set-H3362? Thanks

I tried to use it and unfortunately didn’t work with my equipment 😞

Q: I see it is compatible with the cisco 8640hdc. would that also means it works with the cisco 8642hdc? it does have an ir in. thanks

To the best of my knowledge unless a customer has it working on it I am not aware that it has been tested on that box but as it is very similar to the other, I would think it would work. I would recommend the following. Plug it in and see if it works. If it does not work just by plugging it in. Then unplug your cable box from the power. Plug in the IR receiver and then plug back in the power to the cable box. The cable box will take a few minutes to reboot and then see if it works. If it does not work, then you are welcome to return it.
