Seems like copper to me
Contrary to the one star review, this seemed like ordinary copper pipe to me. Yes, I have no doubt that it's probably a cheaper copper alloy of the type you find in DIY stores, so you wouldn't want to use it in a central heating system without corrosion inhibitor, but use it properly and you'll be fine.I found it easy to work with: it can be bent by hand, but I prefer to use an external spring pipe bender since it allows me to get neater (i.e. tighter) bends without kinking. It cuts easily and I had no problems dimensionally either: 8mm olives fitted well and the fitting made a good seal. Obviously with thin pipe you have to be careful not to overtighten. Do it up just beyond finger tight then inspect the joint once the water's back on, nip it up a quarter turn if it drips.

Made a great wort chiller...
Solid copper wire. Made of copper. Pliable, and did not break. Used the 10 meters to make a wort chiller. I should probably have bought 10mm for that task, but I am an amature with pipes/metal, etc... Resulting wort chiller cooled 5 gallons in about 15-20 minutes despite inexperience of purchaser. Very pleased.

Good quality microbore pipe
Replacing a radiator in my daughter's house I had to remove some old 8mm microbore pipe and re-make joints. This 10 metre coil was just right, job done with spare pipe in hand for the next job.

Very thin / normal pipe cutter didn’t work
Compared to my other 8mm copper pipe this is much thinner resulting in a pipe that’s more brital/easy to damage. Cutting with my 8mm specific pipe cutter crushed the end (never happened with other pipes) I had to resort to the grinder to get a clean cut. I’d recommend getting a thicker pipe to be honest. Only benefit is as it was easy to bend! Photo half way through installation.

NOT Copper!
This isn't copper tube. What I received appears to be aluminium tube that has been painted with a bronze finish. While I'm sure it's fine for domestic plumbing purposes, that's not what I wanted it for - and I wanted copper tube. Do Not Buy if it's actual copper tube you need.
